Not using wilks but a new formula will go in its place right? Not the first fed to use some other formula besides wilks.
Why did the IPF just now decide to change?

Yea, there will be a new formula. A couple submitted ones last year, including the guy from USAPL who created the NextLifter scoring program. Then they've been having people analyze them and figure out which to go with.
The President's report said that it's not because Robert Wilks got booted out, which makes everyone think that's the reason why lol.1372 @ 205

Petr is an absolute giant. Huge as all fuk and straight muscle. Dude looks like a cartoon character. Funny seeing Eric look normal or even small in comparison when standing next to all these dudes lol.
Was rooting for my man Doyle his deadlift suffered yesterday. Lost his first on grip, then got his next 2 easily but only ended with 826 down from 870 the last 2 years.
Was super impressed with how many of these dudes dunked some of their squat attempts and was obviously to depth from the front angle. But there were plenty of squat and deadlift white lights that I know wouldn't have passed at the US open or other big USPA meets (high squats, soft knees on deadlift, etc).Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

Odell was definitely gonna win until he pulled his hamstring on his 2nd deadlift. Dude killed his squat and bench.
Brandon Allen was also impressive as fuk, getting that 1008 squat and attempting an 898 pull for gold.My training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=129669663

So Mark Bell dropped some cash and got some products IPF approved. Cool.
But how did he get the X Sleeves approved? Denim outside and silicon strips. Thought knee sleeves had to be just neoprene.
From the description:
Level 4 neoprene/denim to support max effort
Provides Sling Shot effect for an additional 30-60 lbs
Use during heavy sets for maximum support
Stiff and secure, prevents sleeve movement once on your kneeMy Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

Yea, back in June, the USAPL technical committee chairman told us refs that they aren't approved because "...they do not comply with IPF specifications for knee sleeves. They have a denim front panel and silicone grip material inside." So we'll see if they actually get listed for 2019 or if it gets shot down. Also, lol at them giving 30-60 lbs.

According to his site they are approved for 2019. Would suck for someone to buy them expecting to use them I 2019 and be told no they aren't approved.

Well, time to invest in an Inzer denim bench shirt. Seems like it will pass now for "raw" lifters.
marina.misuricThe denim sleeves were approved?? How the heck did you guys manage that? í ½í¸‚

Didn't that happen with the strong sleeves a couple years ago? They were said to be approved for a day or two then retracted. I'd assume here since he apparently paid the money they'll be on the list, which would probably require the rules to be rewritten.
And exactly, if denim is now an approved material because it's "just cotton", can we use denim bench shirts now? (Not that anyone would)

Tweaked my hamstring yesterday pulling a double at 66%. Just as I was about to start increasing intensity to get ready for a meet.
Feels pretty minor; I'm hoping it was just a cramp thats all knotted up now. Going to have to reassess in a few days. Most of my lifting gets posted to Instagram - https://instagram.com/fayerjw/

Would be a good business move by Mark, just like when he sold a bunch of STrong Sleeves before they were taken off the list.
For t-shirts it says,
"the shirt must be constructed entirely of fabric or a synthetic textile and shall not consist, in whole or part, of any rubberized or similar stretch material, nor have any reinforced seams or pockets, buttons, zippers or other than a round neck collar."
Wikipedia lists kevlar as a synthetic textile, so I guess I'll be wearing a kevlar shirt at my next meet.1372 @ 205

Denim shirts are excruciatingly painful (more painful than polyester), I'm definitely going to grab a pair of denim knee sleeves if they can stay IPF approved for the next few months.
BTW
The cerakote OPB bars suck. The knurling is for kids.
Highly recommend getting the stainless steel 20kg bar is soo much nicer... Knurling for people who aren't pussies. Thinner collars too and less whip.
Found this reverse hyper for $375 shipped. Definitely recommend if you do not have one in your gym,
