Bourbon review
I got an OCD #5. This is from the distillery that used to be Old Crow Distillery. Not the super cheap stuff labeled via Jim Beam. This is single barrel and bottled at barrel proof always. $70-$75 depending on where you find it. Mine was 119 proof. Dark, very dark, not an amber color. Molasses and sorghum the main notes. I put an ice cube in it, the big round one, it really opened it up and I usually don't use ice, even with rye. This is a get. And, you will not run through this. 2 is likely to set you free.
Arian, I think the ones you had were Willet 4 year Weller Special Reserve.

I really have no idea what they are worth...I have one client on there as of yet. Most of mine I have like yourself and I am not sure that my laptop is not the same. Plus, I do have 4 dogs...half of the folks I coach are in my gym.

I think I saw this somewhere. I don't think he is near WR strength right now, but I bet he can still make 300kg look silly.
I'm excited to see what Thor can do also. I don't think he will walk in and just start breaking all kinds of WRs like IG thinks, but 2400ish should be in the cards still. Most of my lifting gets posted to Instagram - https://instagram.com/fayerjw/

I'm going to do equipped natls next year, full meet. See if I can pull it off.
I actually was the one that got the first organic client, which surprised me. He competed yesterday.
One of the dogs, the smallest, Toogee, was my mentor's. Bob Shaefer. He and I met via writing for Powermag many years ago. We became fast friends and the amount of things I learned was immeasurable. He always worried what would happen to his dog should he pass. I promised, should that day come, I would do so. He was apparently at his desk when he suddenly passed. One of his guys Father went to the door to check in, saw his head on the desk through the window and he had passed chatting with one of us. I had spoken to him on a Thursday Joe Ladnier, who is also a great pal of mine, had spoken to him that night. He apparently died on that Friday. It took a couple of weeks but, Toogee made her way to us and has been with us since. .Squat: 1,040

Comes up slightly as soon as he presses. Looks like his butt comes up to from this angle.

What is everybody using to squat with? My ****ty old beater bar is starting to bend. Would like to get something a little bigger in diameter with full knurling, what else is there besides the texas squat bar?
Also will $800 for a bar magically make my squat go up 100 pounds? I thought $400 - 500 was a lot for a specialty bar but wtf, who is buying Duffin's bars? Duffalo bar looks cool but hard to justify $600 for it. $700+ for a squat bar? Are these made from cold rolled gold?Best raw lifts: 670/480/675 | http://www.youtube.com/user/invain622002 | IG: NsattPL

Are you equipped lifting now?
Texas squat bar is great for a squat specific bar or used for benching too. Step up would be the bulldog which are still Capps bars.
Chris is way high in price especially for a powerbar or bow bar.
The Ohio power bar is a good value. I'm not a fan of it though. Feels slick on my back vs my original westside power bar or my new Vulcan absolute powerbar v2.
I really like the Vulcan black oxide absolute power bar v2. It has pretty sharp knurl but the center is more mild. Good for front squats and overhead presses. Even though the center is mild it feels very secure on the back.
For squats it's my favorite 29mm powerbar. I am looking for a stainless steel bar right now waiting for rep fitness to come out with a more aggressive knurled version. My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

I bought a Troy Powerbar when I started my garage gym and I love it. Not sure how much they are now. I bought a display model from a fitness distributor here for $250 I think

Thanks for the responses. I was looking at the Ohio Powerbar originally since the price is good but the Texas Squat Bar is still a little thicker in diameter. I'm never going to be squatting 1000 lbs but I like the feel of a heftier bar on my back and absolutely hate whip when squatting.
