We keep trying to hang out and I keep messing it up. I'll be in Spokane, but I'll be coaching most of the sessions. And then they're trying to get me to ref a session or 2, when I'm not coaching, because a bunch of refs backed out. So we'll see if I'll have time.

Guy is from around my area. Showed up to a local meet a couple years back and called for 600+ bench and smoked it. Everyone was just dumbfounded and he's only gotten stronger since.

He is ridiculously explosive off the chest. Super strong, and like Johnny said all the lifts are clean as hell, good pauses and no question on lockouts.

I think Maddox can take the bench record from Sarychev if he stays healthy. Not to say Sarychev can't take it back, I just think Maddox will be on that same level.

Also, Hornnstra is taking a stab at 701 at 242 in a few weeks I think. I don't think hes there, but we'll have to wait and see.

1st single ply meet, had 12 weeks of training in the gear. Went pretty well. Squat suit was loose, I gained 6lbs morning of trying to fill out as much as possible tho.

I was handling clients the day before, one being a geared lifter as well, so getting him in his suit and wrapping him up the day before killed my hands. My HookGrip was an issue for the 1st time.

I'm trying to get this random dude to compete in my January meet. Says he's natural and can bench over 600 lbs. So I'm trying to get him to unofficially break the American record at my meet, then get him to a meet where he can actually break it. Would be crazy if this guy is actually legit and ends up breaking the American and world record in 1-2 years.

So I'm trying to get him to unofficially break the American record at my meet, then get him to a meet where he can actually break it. Would be crazy if this guy is actually legit and ends up breaking the American and world record in 1-2 years.

That's a strong guy but holy **** wrapped in a smaller more compact **** that bench needs a lot of work. Doubt he would hit 545 comp standards. Also "natty" means different things to different people. 😂

I had a fresh pair of THPs and another set of Grippers on stand by. Just dont want to re-roll any wraps mid wrap. That and I cant get down with Sig Golds or Grippers with a tight wrap.

Can confirm. Seen this a lot. Real natty boys that hate the usapl, like myself, just compete in whatever federation is close. Drug tested or not. My favorite is how many "bodybuilders" have told me they are just gonna compete tested in the off season and break some records......lol. 90% of them having a ~14-1500 total at 260 on every supplement a person can be on.

Man mark miller having a rough go. He took a Brandon Lilly level fall with 800 and my knees are gone.
