Anybody still highbar in here? I might make the switch. I feel a lot less tension on my low back when I tried the other day

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Nah if you're stronger with it, less injured, do it. I know Kevin Oak just moved back to high bar and he's hitting the same weights as he was, maybe more. Just try both and do what is best. Most of the heaviest squats done will be done low bar for raw squats anyway. Seems like a good amount of equipped guys use a higher bar position.

I recently noticed oaks change too I was looking for some top guys to look at the other night and he was one of the only high barers I found. Don't think barers is a word btw. I can still squat low at but I noticed how much stress high bar takes off my back. I'm gonna give t a couple weeks and see if I can make the change. If not I can always go back.

I squat high bar, normally further out from comps and then gradually take it out as I get more into strength work and it's totally gone when I'm peaking. I find it less stressful on the back and that it directs more work at my legs. I don't really have any problem with low bar squats, but with my squat/deadlift ratio I want to get some more volume in that's hitting my quads.

Only big bencher I know that does decline on the regular is Jen Thompson. Some guys do some incline, some don't.
I sorta get the feel that secondary presses tend to just be exercises that the people like, because to a certain extent pressing is pressing. OHP, incline, dips, whatever are all just ways to press more that aren't a regular bench. I've just always like close grips and OHP.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

I always found biking fukd my knees, much prefer walking or jumping rope but that's just me. I know that most people like bikes. Ellipticals are cool too.

Spreadin reps around since knees didn't hurt at all during today's squats. Feeling like I might actually get stronger again now.
