Feelsgoodman hit 420 @8.5 raw at a the lowest bw of my cut 132lbs..
The competition level is damn crazy nowadays at my class.. I remember at the start of the year a 420 Squat is WOW for my class..
But now its just MEH...
edit: Oh also, does anyone here does BJJ together with powerlfiting? I'm intersted to try it out but im not sure how to schedule it in. I have Eq. Nationals + Asian Raw Champs in 2 months.. Next week is deload week though so maybe I can fit a session or two in.. but im still not sure how TOUGH BJJ training is.
Old 10+ years knee wrap handed down to me as a introduction wrap. I think its the old titan wraps with black and blue stripes.

very exciting lifter to watch, such crisp DL and BP technique. His squat is strong af but doesn't seem to click as nicely as his other lifts yet.

Probably late to ask now since meet in morning but when do you all start warming up for you flight?
Got to get to 405 then doing 475 (wraps/down) and hitting full gear 535 before the flight starts. I can run up to 405 easy.
Same with bench. I can go bar 135 225 295 345 (slingshot) then hit 390 440 with shirt.
Takes 15 minutes to get into suits.

da fuk, never seen him post anything about MMA before. He was straight rocking some dude from what was shown. Super impressive cardio for a powerlifter (although this all probably was in 1 round).Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. I had been setting the shirt with my thumbs at noon. Today I put the shirt with thumbs at 10. Figured I would get more rebound.
I did what I had been doing. And just lowered the opener (480) and pushed cause can’t touch with it. Missed. Went to 515 and damn did that puppy fly....caught me off lost control. So I added 15 to slow it and make the touch a little easier since i didn’t feel weak with the 515. But I got in my head so when I touched I rolled first instead of pushed and you know how that works out.
Squat was alright. I missed opener depth. Second one hips shot forward. Third felt great at 650.
I didn’t get a good warm up in with squats. Not a lot of racks (4) and flights A-F today. I started warming up when E took the stage and got my suit on when they were in 3rds. Hit a crap 475 no wraps. Put 535 on my back no wraps and walked out literally 4 people to hit my opener.
This was the 3rd squat
Lots of lessons learned. I can still function so I probably got away with one.
I’ll make sure I get stronger to where I don’t have to play the miss an opener game next time. I put myself into a corner missing the opener to where what happened on bench happened.
