    Shoutout to Arian for helping!

Was wondering, anyone here does a heavy SBD on the first day of the week and volume work for the rest of the week?

Seems like deadlifting the day after a squat workout hinders my deadlift. I was thinking deadlifting heavy on the same day will make it better as the DOMS haven't hit and its much more specific. Then I can just split the volume afterwards.
Depends on what you pull in comp.

I always train sumo on lower day splits. But I train conventionals on upper days. But that’s more of a back thing than a legs DOMS issue for me.

I pull sumo. SAme, me too my back has some DOMS usually.

I'm planning to do this. This is my last week on my hypertrophy block. I only have 3 weeks left before I need to do a meet prep, so I chose to decrease the volume and up the intensity (which serves as a deload too I guess as this is half the volume of my hypertrophy block) for the next 3 weeks.

Usually I deadlift on Tuesday after my COmp. SQ/BENCH on monday.

    1st week:

I haven't typed out the rest of other two weeks but its something like that lol

    Would appreciate any comments.

I know ipf weight classes are different from all other feds. But, id like to bring back the 198s somehow. I remember back in the day when 198s was like how the 181/183 weight class is now; very competitive. If I can even do it with just one federation then that would be cool.

That feel when your son asks you to coach them. He asked me to tell him what to do and be his coach while he was playing around in the basement. He did exactly what I asked him to do too.

I don't have a whole lot to compare to but I have some American barbarll stiff wraps and they are pretty damn stiff. I have the wrists of a 13 year old girl and I can only get like 2.5-3 revs out of some 24" and my wrist doesn't move at all.
Either hellfire or WMD I can't remember which is which.

Side note just read guerilla warfare, and there are 3 programs for raw lifters in it, and if you are pure powerlifting focused those programs look rock ****ing solid.

I would go for the Sig gold's. Metal silvers are very spongey wraps. Sig gold's are sorta hard and stiff with a quick lock up, very good for wrist wraps.

They're pretty much the best IPF wrap, except for bigger guys who can't get enough revs from them on the knees. That said Im pretty certain I could get 6 revs from a 2m Sig gold knee wrap with some help and enough effort/breaking them in.

Mind was blown at that. Either he has the smallest knee joints in the history of mankind or the boys are redefining tightness.

Figured. I've been giving it a read.

Really good stuff. I was expecting some bombastic hyper masculine chit for some reason. I was wrong, the book is really straightforward and honest. Programs look good (but what do I know? I'll have to try one) and the nutrition advice is rock solid.

I would love the opportunity to go on an epic journey across the Americas, Europe and Asia to find the meanest, tightest knee wrapper in the world

One of the guys to wrap me the tightest told me that the guy on the far left was the tightest he'd ever came across. The tightest American wrappers, or so I hear, are Larry Maile and Jeff Douglass

400kg at 100, but in strangulators so really it's more like 250kg raw.

Do any of you guys have a lift that just sucks? The way things are going I'll bench 405 in 2018, and pull 635-650, and highly doubt I can squat 405.

My bench is awful. Like 420 at 350lbs bodyweight.

It's improving this winter tho, hitting the upper body hypertrophy hard.

I'd have to go with squat bench and deadlift

But really, my bench sucks but mostly because of my injury history. My deadlift should be way better and I've put like 5lbs on it since 2014 so maybe I'll go with that.

Yeah none of mine are good either since I'm like 225 BW, I just meant do you have 1 ******* lift. In 3 years I've put about 200 pounds on my total without my squat moving. Sucks knowing I could have a semi decent total is my squat would just help me a little. Not asking for a 700 squat here just 5-550.

Yeah my bench is easily the most staggering. Hasn’t been the same since the tear at my first meet.

3 years in and I’ve still failed to pull 600 in a meet.
