After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

He'll be lucky to get power anytime soon. Or internet access. Florida had over 5 million with out power. He would be under FPL
Which you can see areas effected by power outages on their handy map to pin point certain areas....

Scale of the outages and the effort involved in restoring services is amazing

Bought a THP Knee Wraps and tried it on last week.. Failed 200KG miserably lol..
That's like my Raw Max..
It was VERY HARD AND TIRING to roll them up and to wrap them.. I probably lost 100KG just from doing the rolling/wrapping..
What's worse is I can't even get the same amount of revolution as I usually get. Usally I get like 6ish.. 3 up 3 down.. with the new wraps I barely got 5 and the wrap stopped at a very awkward position..
Not enough for another Revolution but at the same time too much wrap is not being used = Very hard to secure them in place without being to loose..My Powerlifting "Road To Manlet" Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172129323

Sounds like you're too used to using toilet paper wraps. THPs are good but they're already on the stretchy side which is a good thing for 2m wraps. But they shouldn't be hard to wrap. I actually just tried my new THPs a few days ago and they were really easy to wrap compared to other non-ipf wraps I've used. I also never pre-roll my wraps, I just put more effort into pulling and cranking them tight.

THPs are good wraps but they aren't the type of wraps you roll and wrap yourself if you are kinda just starting out
I wrap myself with them from time to time but I'd rather use grippers for that. Get a partner. You wrap him for his peaking cycle and meet, he wraps you for your's.Last edited by Torrtrefireto; 09-13-2017 at 06:57 AM.

I feel like THP's are soft. At least compared to the APT convicts I used to use and loved. Anyone use the SBD stiff wraps?

I do if I can. My training wraps have been through probably a thousand sets each. I have some sponsored friends who will let me borrow their brand new/used for 1 day previously wraps. Its nice. I don't like that idea for Sig Golds however because they sorta transform from horrible cardboard to a nice wrap over the course of a few weeks

Thanks for the info.
Do you know thickness wise how big of a difference it is? Between all 3?
I think that's one of the issues I've been having with the Golds. Too much.
Shoot I already feel like I'm doing that. I've been doing geared training for 16 weeks. Squat has been a nightmare. 2 sessions ago I figured out how to sit the S.C. Then last week I jacked the legs up a little higher and got near/ at depth.
Gonna put the seams to barely holding in my ass cheeks (ain't no one wanna see that) and YOLO.
Go fig. Raw squats and deads haven't been a major issue. In gear squats are the bane of my existence and Ive gone from F6 to LCC SK.

Yup, I'm alive. The storm didn't do much damage in my area. Pretty much no houses are damaged. Just a lot of down branches, some down trees, and broken fences. Just got power back tonight. It's just been annoying that a lot of fencing went down at my dad's other house, so we've been there the past 2 days taking out the broken posts and putting in new ones. The keys look demolished though.

That post on the Crossfit and older man passing with the coke, that nurse got fired and then some I think. Arian's old friend Mike Taylor posted about it, contacted the nurses hospital and preached. Well deserved firing I think we can all agree.
Arian is most pissed about that they didn't advertise Pepsi, lol.Meet lifts s/286 b/226 d/391 @175- Nov 2014

Dude you're 59kg class and only getting 6 revs? Should be getting like 10 with any wrap. Have someone wrap you. I'm not a good wrapper and I get 7 with sig golds on my 270lbs friend with tree trunk legs.
Golds are the thickest IPF approved wrap I've seen. Titaniums feel a touch thicker to me than the iron Z's but they're pretty similar.
