Hello all! So I always get the question "how much do you bench"... I decided to give it a try and put up 495 fairly easily raw.... I then went to continue my workout and found out my tricep was hurting very bad down by the elbow.
Had to take a few weeks off from anything tricep related, I'm starting to get back into exercising normally now.
My question to all the power lifters out there, is which elbow sleeves do you wear or recommend I get? I'm definitely getting a pair for support from now on. Thank you

There are quite a few options that could work for providing warmth - my personal favorite are the Rehband 7mm knee sleeves (worn on elbow), although the Eleiko sleeves are very similar and less expensive, and the STrong sleeves also have very good reviews and would likely be a great option.
Remember that the sleeves are just one tool in your arsenal, and that you should also look to address the underlying cause of the pain - whether it be an issue with mobility, warm-up, scar tissue, technique, etc.Pro Strongman & Former National Champion

Don't depend on it for support but for warmth just like knee sleeves. I'd do tiger balm ultra + any decent neoprene sleeve like rehbands.

You will notice that a lot of the World's Strongest Man athletes who are monster pressers and are sponsored by SBD will wear the knee sleeves on their elbows - I assume this is because they are a different thickness and provide more support/coverage, although it could also be due to sizing since some of them are pretty massive (Dimitar, Big Z, etc.).
For those who are interested in compression the two ply elbow sleeves from Strength Shop or Lifting Large are another potential option, they will give you a bit more carryover/compression but less warmth.Pro Strongman & Former National Champion

I use original blue Rehband knee sleeves for my elbows. They work great.
Can't bench without elbow pain without them.Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

These have been recommended in the equipment forum for those looking to spend less than SBDs or Rehbands. I haven't used them so can't give an opinion. I thought someone gave a review on this site but wasn't able to find it.

I have used SBD's for several years now and they are great. Keeps the joints very warm, I'd recommend getting the correct size, don't try down sizing to get assistance from them. I have the correct size and they still get a little tight once I get a good pump going.
