I do; have made, served and eaten "Pumpkin Pie" in mid July. Pumpkin pie isn't even made with "Pumpkin" It's made with squash and there are many varieties throughout summer, fall and winter. Further it's just a custard pie and in as such this is a fairly large amount of types of pies/pastries. The seasonings used in one are all that really make it unique and even than cinnamon, nutmeg and clove is used in various cuisines as staple spices for both sweet and savory dishes year round.

Here in PA we use "Long neck" or "Crook Neck" squash but iv used acorn, summer and winter squash to make pumpkin pie. You know what no real baker is using to make one... a fkn pumpkin its stringy and lacking in flesh to cook with.

Seasons vary on the location this should be obvious but in many regions citrus is up year round and its used heavily in so many cuisines year round I drink lemonade mid December wut the problem is? Also cook with lime, pomelo, lemons and oranges right now in November

I am very confused by this notion of vanilla as "Basic" real vanilla is the 2nd most expensive spice, easily the most complex having hundreds of flavor molecules and aromatics. You know dis! :P That's why u need to pick the good stuff

If it's "basic" as in generic and doesn't leave an impression it's not a very well done vanilla and it's certainly not utilizing anything close to a real vanilla.

I think its pretty similar to French Vanilla cream/creamer or maybe also kinda of similar to some of those vanilla shortbread cookies turned into a milkshake but im more often mixing it into fairlife milk so.

So here's a question, not sure if anyone can answer:

Define "too much volume"...all the rage these days is for natty's to increase frequency and decrease volume, but no one define's what too much volume is, and the argument seems to be in favor of muscle growth, but vague when it comes to strength increases. I love volume. Always been a volume guy. Hitting big lifts once a week with lot's of volume during that session, and many strength based programs are designed as such. I never really feel like i'm over doing it, but I do feel that I need the week in between the main lifts to recover. Moreover, some body parts still get hit multiple times a week i.e. back is hit hard on squats and deads, shoulders and tris on bench and OHP, legs on deads and squats etc. Many of the all time greats were on programs hitting each big lift once a week, but I understand I don't have the advantage of gear.

    Any thoughts or feedback?

Really no hype on this and it's just a delicious white choc mint done right and it taste great in shakes,
bakes, and overnight proats. I personally wouldn't even waste my time with Ghost's new version of this
flavor though their flavors taste good in shakes in my opinion the 3 flavors I have taste extremely bitter
in overnight proats so I'll just stick to using them just in shakes and maybe in a recipe or two.

    Have you heard about MRV/MAV?
Mamimum recoverable volume and maximum adaptive volume?

If not look up mike isratael, he's the one that explains it. But either way let's say we have high volume, "science says" it's better to split that high volume evenly into a higher frequency program. To the extent at how much of a difference increased frequency makes, when volume is equal, I have no idea. And this is what I'd like to know the most, as Idgaf about a 10% increase in muscle mass over baseline (after a year) if it makes my life hell

I'd really like to answer this but it would be easiest putting a routine in front of me and I'll tell you what needs to be changed. You're mainly eliminating the fluff work and what will hold back your recovery.

That's part of what i'm wondering. Will check out mike isratael, appreciate the feedback

Well, here's an example. My training this morning, bench day:

    warm up

    bar x 12
    135 x 8
    165 x 5
    185 x 3

    Working Sets:

    215 x 3

    245 x 3

    275 x 3+ and I hit 4 solid reps

    Joker:

295 x 2 was an RPE of 10 unfortunately as I really wanted to hit a triple.

    AMRAP:

225 x 8 paused reps at an RPE of 9-10

    Banded Bench:

    135 x 12

    155 x 10

165 x 8 there were all relatively light RPE, could have done more or increased the weight but for assistance I opted not to.

    Close Grip Bench:

    135 x 12

    165 x 10

    185 x 7 which was a high RPE 9 or 10

Then I finished with a pyramid of 4 sets of skull crusherz

It was a lot of pressing, but it felt great.
