Can anyone help me get started a bit? I have bought up to forsaken expansion. How do I get a raid group? What power level should I be? I got the companion app and got in a group but they all 950 or so and kicked me out...

Start by doing the Forsaken campaign. Once you finish you will be able to do the Last Wish Raid which has some good weapons and might be the best raid in Destiny history. Warmind and Osiris are both really short but worth going through. 750 power level should be fine to do any of the content that you have access to

Still havent done Last Wish, but is it really that good? Like better than King's Fall and VoG?

Maybe not better but its on the same tier. The aesthetics are on point, the mechanics are fun and the Queen's walk run is super intense.

You really need to do Last Wish.

I got recluse 2 days before they announced the nerf. I was thinking about trying for luna's next but I don't want it to get nerfed again for everyone else

It depends. If they have bounties to complete and the rewards are worth it maybe. I suck at PvP so if all the good stuff is locked behind going flawless I won't touch it

Edit: Just went and checked out the Bungie forums for the first time in a year or so. Nice to see they are still threatening to burn this mfker to ground over every perceived issue

Neat. Does anyone on PS4 still play this? It's been so long since I've played. It's been long enough that I can't even remember if I ever completed the first raid. I miss destiny though.

I'll be the first to admit I've given d 1 and 2 it's share of crap. But after red dead came out, didn't like, unfortunately I do not like ff7 remake,cod warzone is cool but I don't have many to play with. I really miss destiny to be completely honest.so if anyone still plays, send me pm. I may have the money to buy expansions, I'm not sure. Just bored with every game right now.

I still play but I'm taking a break from it right now. They just announced that starting in September they are gonna be sunsetting weapons and armor one year from the date that it was released. It's still the only game I play but Bungie has made some baffling decisions with it. I'm seriously thinking about not buying the expansion next year

I was so done with Leviathan at the royal gardens. I hear Last Wish was a good raid though.

D1 is a much more fun game. The areas were open enough that you could actually use long range weapons. I mained scouts in D1 and in D2 they are useless not because of damage (all primaries in D2 are comparatively weak) it because they is nothing in their engagement range. This brings me to another point, in D1 there was a massive difference between a red bar you could one shot with a scout and a major enemy you pretty much had to use special weapons on. In D2 that gap is closed significantly. Because the red bar enemies are so much stronger you need damage perks on primaries which limits the "good weapons" you can get.

In D1 strikes took 10 to 15 mins with the strike taking 5 to 10 min and the boss fight taking 5 to 10 min. In D2 the the strike takes 15 min and the boss fight 10 seconds to 2 mins. I know people complained about bullet sponge bosses but I'd much rather have it the D1 way.

D1 raid mechanics were simple but still hard to execute sometimes. D2 raids like Last Wish are fun but encounters like the vault were obviously built with streamers going for world's first in mind. How the hell they figured that one out I'll never know

The things about D2 that I absolutely love are the addition of the map with marker and fast travel, class abilities and mantling

Yeah, it was pretty bogus when they made all the Legendary Elemental Primary weapons into exotics to create a new grind. Wack.


Using Fatebringer to clear the abyss in Crotas End was awesome though.

I haven't played in weeks except to log in and do the felwinter's lie quest. These hype videos always pull me back in. This is the last game I play and I was getting ready to quit for good.

Darkness subclasses look all but confirmed at this point. Looks like I'll be preordering again lol
