Decided to get rid of my Rogue flat utility 2.0 and get either the Titan bench (currently on sale for $99 with free shipping) or the Atlas bench (https://www.slamballfitness.com/prod...ch-with-wheels) for $110 + tax.
I would have to drive like 2 hours back and forth to pick up the atlas bench.
What do you guys think? Which is the better choice?

that's what i was thinking.
how short are you? my first bench was 19.5" off the ground and it worked fine. sure it wasn't ideal, but it wasn't the end of the world either. certainly not enough reason to upgrade (replacing it with commercial WAS a good reason). i'm only 5'6.
i think a lot of people overestimate bench height. yes it can be a factor, and it's more important if you're lifting really heavy and/or competing, but i think people really blow it out of proportion.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

I'm with you, the Atlas and EFS flat bench are much better designs than the Rogue. The only issue with the EFS is a lack of wheels and a handle. I figure that the Rogue flat bench sells too well for them to bother redesigning it. The Rogue Adjustable 2.0 in the flat position is close to a perfect design for a flat bench, right down to the height which matches a powerlifting competition bench. In my mind, it's an obvious decision to redesign the flat bench to match the Adjustable 2.0.
I disagree that it's a downgrade unless OP is benching very serious weight. And in that case I would recommend an EFS bench instead.

That does look like a nice addition to the flat bench options. I picked up a Rep 3000 flat bench last month on CL and I'm happy with it after cutting 2" of each side of the front cross piece, I like the single post of this new bench even better , plus the heavier steel and thicker pad.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

Is it just me or does it look like the front foot plate isn't flat on the ground? Wobble?
Oh, and a friendly reminder from Rogue's flat bench:
A set of attachable rubber feet are also now included with each order, replacing the original plastic caps. These attachments not only add another stabilizing element, but also protect your flooring from scrapes and scuffs.

We already have a bench with 4 feet and rubber for those who want that.
This one is similar to the Atlas that had been sold for a while with a lot of good reviews,
and none mentioning stability issues that I can recall. You basically don't need the front foot to be level unless you intend on sitting on the front edge of the bench and moving side to side. Once you lay down,
no issues.
That said, if we get enough people complaining about it then we can always change it and add a rubber sleeve with 4 gauge bolt down add-ons and a suspension system with anchors and wire that hook into the wall on either side of the bench.www.repfitness.com - Gym equipment manufacturer.

I don't need the front foot to be level? But am I allowed to want it to be level?
We have different goals when commenting on products. You are defending a bench as being good enough at this price point (which it probably is!). I notice the things that could potentially be improved (within reason, taking note of the price point).
The rubber slippers available on other benches might have concealed the slightly warped foot of this one (but a flat foot would be ideal). And why would customers want to choose between two flat benches with different features when one bench could easily offer all features without trade-offs? (I am assuming the 4-footed bench is not more stable than this one)

The rep competition bench does seem sweet. What happened to the prototype pics Duke posted where the fat bench pad looks tapered almost coffin shaped
where it was wider near your head and shoulders? Seemed like that was a great idea.
EDIT: I found Duke's prototype pic. Maybe this is what the FB-5000 will look like with the fat pad?
The wobbly foot would bug me for sure. Nothing a piece of rubber couldn't fix though lolz. I got my Rep Fitness FB3000 and all 4 rubber feet make this bench rock solid and no wobble. It's all about the rubber feet. My favorite part of the bench actually.Last edited by bb5150; 12-10-2017 at 02:53 PM.

Thanks Bench. I was debating after reading MGM711 feedback on Fat pad . Will wait for your feedback. Not that it matters , the front foot wobble/gap would bug me even though it may not effect functionality. For me both "aesthetics" and functionality matter
Btw, ,I don't need fatpad touch wood no shoulder issues yet. Planning on prevention route rather than cure route.
Duke,
Is there a option to fix the wobble by adding rubber feet or something?[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]
