Hi all, I've read recently that drinking alcohol can reduce protein synthesis by 20%. This is obviously very worrying and I wondered if the 20% reduction for for a day or two after drinking or for my whole life? This might be a dumb question but any answers are appreciated. I'm planning on drinking at the weekend but not sure how this might affect future gains. Thanks
