Also has somewhat of a older Williams Strength look. Doesn't matter now, it lives in my basement. No markings on it.

Is a Jam'n Squat machine worth picking up? It's priced right and seemed nice to use for the few unweighted squats I tried, but I'm wondering if there's any added value when I already have a belt squat. Not much info found for this particular machine.

i tried a similar one because i wanted to sell my magnum perfect squat but still wanted a standing calf. the pads on the calf raise werent thick enough and too firm and i could feel pressure pain where the pad rested totally on the point above the clavicle.

i guess pads could always be replaced but the guy wanted too much and i had the magnum. the magnum pad is perfect thickness and some softness to prevent any loading of a single point.

just make sure to try it for comfort. i brought 2 25s to test it with to be sure.

It also kinda looks like SOA (State of the arc) Welding's custom lat pulldown.

Thanks, if I go back to look at it I'll bring some weights. I vaguely remember using one at the last commercial gym I was at, but I didn't put in a lot of time with it. As of right now I'm having a hard time justifying trying to find space for it, since it's something like a 5x3 footprint and I'd have to re-work the jigsaw puzzle that is my current gym. Just don't want to pass on it for that price and then wish I had picked it up later, since the few times I've seen these types of leverage squats for sale they're usually stupidly overpriced.

Can't find a picture of their stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if this was built by some small-time shop. I picked up a similarly constructed plate tree from the guy, also with no markings.

On spread with everyone as usual.

in the end too, i gave up looking. no one wanted the magnum or were low balling. plus, like you said a standing calf raise is about the same footprint as the magnum. just looks smaller since its not as robust. magnum is great for shoulder shrugs as well.

It's very basic, but it'll get the job done. It would be a fair price in my market. What's the budget for the rack?

Trying to keep it under $400 if possible. The rack is the last thing I need to get the ball rolling with this home gym set up. I already picked up the following:

    Rogue Cast Iron Plates
    -8 X 45lb
    -2 x 25lb
    -4 x 10lb
    -2 x 5
    -2 x 2.5

    for $465 (.53/lb)

    Rogue HG 2.0 Bumpers
    -4 x 45lb
    -2 x 35lb
    -2 x 25lb
    -2 x 10bl

    Plus Rouge Ohio Bar

    for $450

Curious what you guys think on those deals?

Also picked up the Ethos Olympic Rack from Dick's since it is on clearance for $130. Figured I'd be spending ~100+ for a decent flat bench to use in the rack and I have the room for it, so just went for that Westside 2.0 knockoff for $130. This bench does give me some flexibility with racks since westside spacing on a rack isn't really a priority anymore.

I also already have both a wall mounted pull up bar + a dedicated dip station. So again, gives me a little more flexibility with racks since I don't have the need for a rack that can be customized to add those features. I really can't think of any accessories I would need on a rack. Maybe a landmine? But I've honestly never used one before, just stick to BB/DB Rows.

So yeah, last thing I need is the rack and Id be lying if I said I wasn't getting a little impatient. Not seeing to many great deals on rack on the second hand markets. Thinking of just picking up a T-3 from Titan and calling it a day...

The things I like about the Precor:

    - If I am not mistaken, it is commercial quality?
    - The thing looks like a tank and probably doesn't need to be bolted down?
    - Price is okay? The guy had it listed for $400, I offered $200 3 weeks ago and he declined. He messaged me back asking if I was still interested and said he'd do $200. Maybe he needs some x-mas money..

The things I don't like about the Precor:

    - Gonna be a hassle to move it. Will probably have to rent a truck to move it (and also keeping this in mind if I need to move it in the future)
    - The rack has been primed and needs to be painted. I guess this one doesn't really bother me, I actually kind of like the way it looks..
    - One of the safety pins was primed and painted white... WTF? Why would you do this to chrome???
    - Cant really customize. Again, not really something I need. But not sure if my priorities will change in the future.

Appreciate the replies and would appreciate any other feedback you guys have

Anyone used the Vectra Vector FID bench? Can't find much for specs or reviews online. Wondering if it's sturdy in the incline and flat positions.

Picked it up. No where near as heavy duty as my Dynamic FI bench, but feels sturdy and adjusts easily. It is a ladder style. The ladder "rungs" are only 11 or 12 gauge, unlike the super thick ones on the Dynamic, but should be strong enough. What Vectra info I could find warrantied it for commercial use, but I'd say is closer in build to something like the old USA-made Powerblock ladder bench.

    Next to the Dynamic:

I owned this rack years back and it is heavier than it looks. It does not need to be bolted down.
The hole spacing was a bummer at times, but I used cut up rubber mats under my bench legs to raise the height to get by.
    I got mine for $200
Its a great, heavy bomb proof rack and no doubt those crash bars will take some abuse.
Someone literally around the corner has the same precor/icarian in good condition, I am in the market for a new rack, but I will take my chances with the Titan X3 Flat foot tall if I dont find a steal on something on cl or offer up soon

i had the similar promaxima version. it is heavy but even then when i wasnt too strong i could carry one side. was awkward but i could
still heavier than any 11 gauge rack.

Looks like it's made in Texas from Fitness Masters Inc. A little bit of info in the "Cost No Object" thread. Seems to have a decent reputation. I'll be sure to post pictures if I move forward.

I went ahead and picked up the incline press and shoulder press today. Really impressed with them so far! I'm still trying to figure out exactly how I want them arranged in my gym, so I haven't put them through a full workout yet. But they look fantastic, and, most importantly, the black and red matches my rack and the look of my gym. I'll report back after I put some weight on them and get a couple workouts in. So far, so good.

Ended up going for over $1K. I'd love to add a pullover to my gym - no idea where I'd put it.

Honestly I'm not surprised, if I recall correctly that early model was rather rare and sought after. Sometimes I wish I would have kept my SuperPullover, but I still understand why I sold it. Fantastic machine but they take up so much space for such limited use. I decided to pass on the one in the picture even though it was rare, having to load plates in the rear would be a pain in the butt and eat up even more floor space.
