Looks like a solid unit. If I was in the market I'd consider it. Not sure if I've used that model or not. I always default to the old BodyMasters 45 as I've used it extensively and liked it as much or more than any other unit. I've hated a lot of leg presses or found them marginal. Fit on a LP seems a pretty individual thing.

Haven't been able to "rep" many of you for a year or more...not for lack of trying.

I'm waiting to hear back on when I can take a look at it. I hear you on the individual fit thing. They're asking $700 obo, which seems to be in the right ball park for an old commercial unit, but if it doesn't feel good it's not for me. The appealing part of this one is that it disassembles so I can actually get it into my basement.
The BodyMasters 45 with the more rounded seat? I always thought those looked nice, but have never gotten to use one.

Googled more pictures, looks like a REALLY nice bearing leg press! Seems like it priced fairly for a commercial unit, it's probably a couple hundo outside of what I would be willing to pay (wink wink), but being able to break it down is an advantage. I saw a nearly brand new Bodycraft close to me for $600, had me thinking for a moment LOL.

Let's face it, the real appealing quality was the "OBO" in the price. I'd like to hit closer to 5 bills (rusty old Parabodys seem to go for 250 around here, so double that doesn't seem out of line), so it's really going to depend on how it feels. It's obviously big (7' long and weight pegs stick out 70"), too, so that's another thing I want to really see in person. I'm back down from 4 to a completely normal, sane, ordinary 2 power racks in the gym, giving away my old GHD, and rearranging things a bit, so I think I can fit it.

I mentioned that one a while back, saw it on Amazon and thought it was interesting. Champion maybe?
Edit: No it's CAP, can see the logo on the safety.

anyone know anything about this bench. I've liked some older Nautilus benches for DB work and haven't found any good commercial ones in ages (darn flippers)
Sadly, with all I've spent on my gym, my current DB bench is a POS so this would be a slight improvement until something commercial comes up at a fair price

I literally just flipped one of those last month. That one is in much better condition paint wise, it looks new. As for the 130lbs, I don't remember it being as heavy as my Hammer Strength or Nebula tho. It is more compact, so maybe it was just easier to leverage?
The good: The frame is nice and sturdy, zero wobble and more incline positions than most ladder designs. 12deg increments instead of 10.
The meh, the pads were soft. Like really soft, like a couch. Nautilus loved soft padding for some reason. And odd sizing, 14" at the bottom of the back pad, 10.5 at the top. Seat is only 9, middle pad is like 8.
The bad, you really have to lift up the bench to use the wheels or the frame will drag.
But if it's a good price, I suggest giving it a try. The soft pads might not bother you, and with custom ones, it could be one of the best ladders out there.||---|| Rogue Barbell Club #30 ||---||

I would be tempted to counter offer $200, then never show up. I HATE sellers than do this crap, had one pull the same thing on me with a Nebula calf raise. What if it was a 2-3 hour drive and someone was already halfway there? You set an appointment to pickup, you should honor the deal.

It was ******** marketplace; she was honest with me and her other listings were for little kids clothes and where she lives is a lot cheaper than were I liev. I suspect the extra $40 makes a much bigger difference in her life than the bench does in mine. Such is life and there are a million things that are of more concern to me than this.

I agree, if I make a deal with someone , I don't back out just because someone offered more. Last year a guy did this to me with a great deal on a Kubota tractor, we made the deal including price ( which was his asking price) and time of pickup which was 2 days later, i call the night before to get the address and found out it's gone. At least I didn't drive 3hrs down & back for nothing. Three days later it was listed on CL for $2500 more by a guy a few hours away
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel
