Today at work, I don't know what I was thinking. But I had about 1300 calories of nutritious food before going to work
(1. oatmeal 2. sweet potato, potatoes, pasta and some beef 3. blueberry smoothie)
Okay, it was MOSTLY healthy...
Then at work I don't know why I did this, I decided to eat half a 12 inch pizza cause i felt hungry and felt I've been eating well. I tracked the calories online and come to find out
it was 1000 calories. Afterwords I felt like throwing up, probably cause of the pizza. Maybe it was guilt. At this point I ate 2300 calories I'm guessing. I've been trying to reduce calories and today I feel like I blew it.
Any tips on getting a good mindset for when temptation strike and a good thoughts I could keep in mind on my journey? Maybe you can share a similar experiences.
I feel like never eating pizza again. If I do it's not gonna be fast food pizza.
You can see on my signature where I'm at as far as pounds go. I've been steadily losing weight. I don't exercise a lot so it's mostly diet for me.

Feeling guilty to the extent of vomiting (or feeling like it) after simply eating pizza is the unhealthy mindset to have...
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

So you Bro'd out all morning then ate pizza not a big deal.. Are you Mike Ohearn? Or the Rock? do you get paid for the way you look ? no tracking macros or eating "clean" is all good and great but at the end of the day life is too short to sit back and feel "guilty " about food.
Trying to improve day in and day out.

I feel like it was more like the pysical aspect of the pizza then the psychology. I know how they make the pizza where I work at. It's not very sanitary lol Also yea it wasn't the NYC pizza. It was half a 12 inch pizza with meat toppings. Also I know I already lost 12 pounds which is correct dash dash, a 42k deficit. But man I been doing good this month and want to really be at 164lbs by weigh in

Yea it's not a big deal to a lot of people. BUt let me tell you. When it comes to diet, pizza is my WEAKNESS. And so for a person like me, it's best I don't eat it. It quickly turns into a habit. So people are addicted to things like cookies and ice cream. For me I think it's the pizza. Mostly when it's in my face. I work with it haha

You're taking pizza way, way too seriously. If, for some reason, you think you have an 'addiction' to pizza, then I guess don't buy it, but learn to live with the fact that every once in a while you'll end up eating pizza, and move on. Otherwise, you'll just end up feeling guilty... if you have food guilt, then life is gunna be pretty lame much of the time. People gain and lose weight every day, week, etc, throughout their entire lives... your few pieces of pizza doesn't amount to jack squat in the grand scheme of things. So avoid it or eat it whenever you want.... there are more important things out there.

There's a sign taped to my refigerator that says "Do you want to be fcking fat your whole life?" (srs)
I look at that thing every day multiple times during the day, including before I leave the house to go to work. When temptation hits, I just ask myself if I want to be fat my whole life. Same question when I don't feel like going to the gym or doing cardio.MISC Blood Drive (MOD REPS): https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175220881
