Been lifting for about 5 years, some months dedicated and others half assed
About 4 months ago I did front squats, the week after my knees would hurt even when i was sitting down, decided to take a month off legs
During that workout I didnt feel anything wrong, and before that workout I never had a problem squating any weight, I was doing 315lbs below parallel no problems
These past few months I've been slowly getting back into squats but my knees just hurt when I do them and the week after, I havent gone past 135lbs
It even hurts to do bodyweight squats, becUse of this I've kind of stuck to just doing stairs to work legs and that has seemed to help
Any advice?

Knees hurt when squating
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

How strong are your hamstrings in relation to your quads?
Might want to look into that. Any strength imbalance can cause major issues with the knees. Also going below par on a front squat would almost force your knees way out in front of you, putting more strain on the knees.

I don't go to the gym anymore so above stats are useless.
Only do weighted calastentics in the comfort of my own home!
