iForce Nutrition SwoleMate - Snowcone

I had never tried anything from iForce Nutrition before this product. I was lucky enough to win some over in this thread: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...4435841&page=4

Efficacy: 10/10
What appeals to me about Swolemate is mainly the BCAA's. I'm up at 4:30am 4x days per week to go to the gym and I find myself always trying to optimize what I eat prior to training and while I'm there. I could drink a protein shake, but I'm not sure that'd digest the best. So I've been a BCAA lover for the past couple years since it's easily digested and triggers MPS if you get enough of Leucine (~3g). Swolemate hits this mark with 3.5g Leucine, along with 1.75g of the other BCAA's. This is my favorite part.

Other goodies include: 1.6g BA, 1.25 betaine, 1g citrulline, and a few miscellaneous minerals that my body is needing when I wake up.

I could do without the BA, since I'm more of a powerlifter. But everything else is spot on. Maybe instead of the BA, throw in some creatine of some sort. That's my only complaint, if you want to call it that.

Taste: 9/10
My second favorite part is the taste. I received the snowcone flavor. It tastes great, maybe a little too sweet for some. But that's just an excuse to add some extra water, which I always find myself doing so it's nice this doesn't get diluted with extra water (think 16oz water). Typically I'm sipping on this from about 4:45am to 5am while I'm getting the morning going and packing lunch and stuff. I enjoy every sip. To me, I don't really pick up on a snowcone flavor. It more or less tastes like the SourHeads, which is funny because they have a sour lemon candy flavor of Swolemate. It'd be interesting to have these side by side, cause I have a feeling they would taste very much the same. But like I said, it still tastes really good, just not the snowcone flavor I was looking for.

Mixability: 9/10
Little bit of foaming, but that's most likely due to the leucine, which I come to expect so not an issue for me.

Overall: 9/10
It's not 10/10 for 2 reasons:
1) I didn't really pick up on the snowcone flavor, more like sourheads, but still tastes great
2) I'd rather see creatine instead of the 1.6g BA

Maybe I'm just picky though

I'm about 3 servings deep and I'll be upset when it's gone.

Yeah BA is an interesting one. Some people love it, some people are meh about it. Personal preference for everyone so can't argue there. I see what you mean about the flavor. To me, rocket pop is the best of the 3, then lemon candy.

Yeah. Although the tingles are useless, once you feel the tingles, it's like a mental trigger that it's time to work out. It has a great placebo effect that way lol.

I personally hate the tingles so the more intense I work out.. the quicker I forget about them!

lol i know it is. But I'm more of a powerlifter so the ergogenic effects of BA is mostly useless to me.
