Awesome gym and awesome that you came back to give us an update. Those Ivankos are sweet. A couple of years ago, I swapped my adjustable dumbbells for a wall of pairs (Intek Kraft Steel) and couldn't be happier. There isn't an adjustable dumbbell on the market (yet) that truly replicates the feel and convenience of grabbing what you want off the rack. If you have the space, it's a luxury worth the investment IMO.

There is nothing like a complete commercial dumbbells set. It’s way easier and it completely changes the look of the gym. There is nothing looking better than a full dumbbell rack in a gym! The ivanko were on my wishlist forever and this year was finally the time to do it. It was a pain to get them here in Canada but i am so happy with them! Thanks man and have a merry christmas too

How do you like the pendulum squat? I may try to figure out how to add this piece or something similar though I'm leaning this way. I'm out of room but can shift some things around to make it work.

Quick question: What made you want to replace your York DB set?

Was thinking about going with their prostyle DB's and rack once I pull the trigger

The York dumbbells were very rough, handles were not perfect and paint looked like it was made with a spray can. I already had ivanko plates so I wanted everything to match. Both sets were not comparable, Ivanko dumbbells are at another level vs the Yorks

A pendulum squat is awesome, due to how it’s made, it uses a really small footprint. For quad work, it is the best leg machine I have ever used. I wanted an Atlantis pro but this one showed up for more than half the cost, could not resist. For a home gym, it is perfect!

So space is my main constraint (I know...preaching to the choir on this forum) but I really like this unit and I could fit it. Question if you don't mind - the weight storage on the side of your unit Pendulum Squat (non Pro) looks to be a single bolt on piece to the main support. As plates are loaded mid-way and on the rear from what I can see, I could simply not install that and save some width in my gym as I have other plate storage. Any thoughts on that or something I'm not seeing? Not essential but good to know. Will obviously need to figure out a place to demo it first but this could be an answer.

Thanks man, i’ve always been on 1-2 times a week but just wasnt posting anything. There aint as many posts as there was back a few years ago.

This might be the last big upgrades post as my gym is now pretty much completed… I don’t have any space available left, I am not planning on moving anytime soon and I have almost everything i wanted. Only time will tell but the next evolution may be a downsize one and not an upgrade…
