Choosing Intermediate Program for Long Cut

Based on my decreasing rate of progress on a beginner program, I suspect I'll be ready to move into an intermediate program within the next 1-2 months. I also want to move into a long cut when I move into an intermediate program.

When choosing between good beginner programs the advice seems to be "choose whichever one seems appealing and fits your equipment/schedule constraints".

Is the same advice valid when it comes to intermediate programs?

For myself, for instance, my initial goal on an intermediate program would be "improve or maintain strength and muscle mass to the extent possible while on a long, 30-35lb cut".

Would all intermediate programs be approximately equal with respect to this goal? If not, which ones would ya'll recommend?
