    Is IIFYM Macros Accurate?

Looking to cut down from 210 lbs to 185-180 while losing as much fat as I can as well as preserving as much lean muscle mass as I can. I plugged the numbers into IIFYM which has seemed to work for a lot of people looking to lose weight. The macros it produced was 270 Carbs 80 Fat 165 Protein. I know it is usually recommended that your protein be at least 1 gram per body weight, so I was just wondering if my IIFYM macros are accurate?

I use the IIFYM calc randomly and it's always pretty close. No calculator will be perfect as it's an estimate. IIFYM is a good place to start then adjust as necessary.

I would up the protein by 20-30g and reduce the carbs accordingly.
