Lenny & Larry's doesn't meet label claims (on two different occasions) and MuscleTech's contains margarine soooooooo neither

Can't trust Lenny & Larry anymore after that whole less than claimed protein scandal.

I'd say neither. L&L = no because of their label claim issues, but then it wasn't really a solid macro choice anyway.
No to MT not because of the product, but because what's the point? If you want a cookie, eat a friggen cookie and fit it to your macros for the day. If you want protein, eat some friggen protein (powdered or otherwise) to meet your macro.
Combining the two together yields protein, but a sub-par cookie experience imo."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."

I thought both tasted fine, but as reputable peeps here stated.. these taste most like "cookie dough" rather than an actual cookie.
If you can simply overlook that, then I'd opt for MT protein cookie.
L&L's Snickerdoodle is actually my favorite in regards to flavor; HOWEVER, the consistency was off batch after batch (some were dry as bricks).
And as others have stated, there was the possible issue of label claims as well.
On the other hand, MT's triple chocolate and PB was quite amazing!Last edited by koweanguy; 07-17-2017 at 07:17 PM.

Who says L&L doesn't meet label claims?
Are you just repeating that as a certainty because somebody decided to sue them?

I like prosupps my cookie chocolate chip. I tried some of the L&L but personally found them a bit dry and wasn't interested in rebuying, the my cookie is quite soft and more like a dough than a cookie, with the occasional chocolate chip, tastes vary so try to get some individual to try before getting a pack of anything

^ This
Those claims are not substantiated and not supported or backed up they are just that claims only with 0 evidence presented so far... fact check yourselves :P
Lenny & Larry easily is the best and only protein cookie I would and or do buy it is an actual cookie and their pretty good
Several newer ones have a consistency of perhaps a poorly done no-bake but lack the taste as well as an odd texture IMO so I could see someone describing it as cookie dough tho I believe they are mistaken and are simply just jumping to what they can closest approximate them too.-- Microwaves everyday crew --

I've just recently tossed L&L into my training day diet for the carbs and how easily digested they are for post workout. If I was tracking protein content in them, I wouldn't even consider L&L from what you can see above(I track my protein intake but not from incomplete protein sources like this cookie). I've also seen some cookies opened up that had maggots in them. So I don't fully trust them from a QC standpoint. I just grabbed a box because if they aren't covered in maggots, they taste pretty good, and I'm not going to order just cookies and pay for shipping. Waiting for a bigger order.
Tl;dr taste good but don't eat if you place a significance on protein. Also inspect cookies before eating.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Literally the only possible way for a food to have this occur and them ( larva ) be alive or even have formed larva is for the package to be either tampered with or not sealed/damaged period so that they can hatch - Which can and has or rather could happen to essentially any exposed or tampered food.
This should be fairly obvious if one even thinks about it for even a couple of minutes. Not myself ever seen this happen to any packaged cookie or packaged-sealed non exposed food ever in my life, but having been around food my entire life I have seen maggots/larva plenty. We do eat plenty of insects tho just in general.
What about White Chocolate Macadamia and Lemon Poppy? or that coconut lime and chocolate peanut swirl?!Last edited by Rob1882; 07-17-2017 at 09:04 PM.

Fair enough, but they have one strike against them for the milk chocolate chip/vegan chip issue. Not that one necessarily has anything to do with the other, this could certainly be an isolated incident of someone trying to take advantage of a company with a tarnished reputation. Just from my experience working internally with supplement companies: cutting corners is usually a trend, not a once in a while sort of thing.

I was a fan of the Lenny and Larrys cookies, but when I got to try to MT cookies it is now my favourite treat in the Microwave for 10 seconds. Triple Choc and the choc chip are now a monthly addition to my stack.

Have seen this more than once with L&L and the wrapper was completely in tact :/
I just look over them completely before eating but I've only purchased 2 of the 4 cookie boxes to have this week while waiting for other brands to arrive. Like I said, cookies are good. Just don't really trust L&L anymore for the lawsuit and the poor QC(seeing maggots once is one thing but numerous times on sealed boxes + sealed cookie wrapper).
Sorry Rob but you can't defend that when you've seen that on more than one occasion. One or two company reps can vouch for coming across the same thing but won't say anything on the forum(rep rules).Last edited by Misctake7; 07-18-2017 at 05:14 AM.

Ooof, tough feedback coming from you.
Did you try each flavor? I know most folks preferred PB and Triple Chocolate over the traditional Choco Chip
And the Bday Cake flavor is coming out soon..Haven't tried it myself, but I can try to send one out to you.
Hope you give it another shot, I know Fitjoy made a HUGE comeback with their newest flavor.. so *fingers crossed*

I was a huge fan of L&L Cookies until they started having some horrible quality control issues. I would randomly get ones that were super hard/stale.
Haven't bought any since.
The MT Cookies were surprisingly good. I didn't dislike any of the flavors but the PB and Chocolate Chip were my favorite.
I only liked one flavor of the Prosupps cookies and that was Snickerdoodle.**********************
