Hey all, it's been a while since I last visited the forums. I transitioned to powerlifting last October and nonetheless I have been experiencing some discomfort lately, especially in my knees on heavy squat days. Getting ready to start another program so I was wondering what joint supplements everyone has found effective. I've recently been looking at Animal Flex, Flexatril, and GenoFlex but I am open to all suggestions and even trying bulk cissus. I have been using fish oil (at least 2g combined EPA/DHA per day) and OT daily for the last several years but never a joint-focused supp.
Also, I haven't kept up with the latest supplements as I don't use much anymore but I do enjoy the occasional "extra" pump on upper body days so I'm curious if there's any well-received pump focused, stimulant-free pwos that have been released over the past year. I still enjoy High Volume a lot and actually have a couple tubs on the way. I also really enjoyed NOOPump which I just finished my last tub of (rip)
Thanks all

Make sure your form is good; the 3 joint support products you mentioned seem to be all well received. Can't wrong any of them IMO.
Since you're powerlifting I wouldn't worry about the Pump. Look for an non-stim product that can aid in performance and recovery over time: Carbon Prep, NEOGENIX BodyForge Ultra or Olympus Labs Conqu3r UnleashedVELOCITY NUTRITION

Scivation has you covered on both of those
Flexatril is amazing, great feedback on countless loggers, anyone suffering joint issues should try it out.
Stim free Quake is one of the most comprehensive preworkouts around, also just had a bunch of loggers for that with a lot of great feedback.
Flexatril is even currently on sale buy one get one 50% off___----Xtend Representative----___

From the ones you listed, I'd go with Flexatril for the joint product.
As far as stim-free, Hemavol, which has been around for the better part of a decade was recently improved on in HemaV02 and that has been my go-to lately. It's easy to say as a rep of course, but the formula speaks for itself for a pump. Great dose of nitrates combined with hydromax... it works. The added focus components top it off well. Carbon Prep is another non-stim I tend to always keep on hand too. Another great option to consider is the new Quake non-stim.

Flexible is an amazing supplement for joint help. I have used a few over the years but, the most noticeable results would be Flexible, Orange Triad, and Joint Help in that order. That being said, powerlifting is going to be very taxing of your joints. A little pain is always to be expected.

My favorite stim free pre's:
BPI Pump-HD
ProjectAD Nitr-OX
Hemavol
Joints:
Curcumin + fish oil are all I use right now and it does well
Cissus - worked in the past for me but not the most recent time around
Orange Triad - multi + joint supportProgressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Form #1 and #2 of course.
Those are good choices, all a bit different.
I noticed an improvement when I took my usual orange traid + fish oil and added cissus. Previously USP Labs super cissus or more recently PEScience Genoflex. Based on that I would obviously try adding the Genoflex. FWIW I ran two bottles of flexatril before the Genoflex and I noticed improvement (just a little shoulder nag) with the Genoflex that I did not with the Flexatril. But that's just me at a certain point in time.
Stim free pre...pump...
The High Volume you mentioned
iFN HemaVol/HemaV02
Controlled Labs White Pipes
Caffeine Free Quake
Carbon Prep is on sale big, it might not be the best expiration date, but if you're using it soon that deal is greatLast edited by Farley1324; 06-28-2017 at 02:00 PM.

also OP as much as supplements can help joint health, make sure youre recovery and water intake is on point. From a background in PL and in OL now, nothing will beat recovery of joints like a good old mobility session everyday and staying well hydratedPersonal Journal (ISSA-SSC, AFAA-CGFI, SPT)

Thanks so much everyone for all of the suggestions! I should add that I do several sets of accessory movements relative to the compound lift of the day when I'm off-program so having the extra pump on those days is fun. I have always done high-bar ATG squats w/ a shoulder-width stance and still do even with PL. Looking to transition to OL within a couple years, but that's for another discussion. As I'm getting older I have been spending more time stretching, rolling (I use the rumble roller a lot), and doing small mobility/core work every day pre and post workout.
Flexatril seems to have a lot of positive feedback here and on other forums so I'll give it a shot especially since I can get two bottles this week here for a decent price. And I was not aware of the Carbon Prep sale so I will definitely try it out. I did use a tub of the stim-free Conqu3r Unleashed last year and while the taste wasn't great, I had some fantastic workouts with it. Gave me the same feeling High Volume always does. I hear the stim-free version has been discontinued but Olympus Labs is working on a replacement for it.
side note: will rep everyone on r/ci don't wear pink or purple
