Hello all. I've been lifting on and off for years, unfortunately recently more off then on. I've started up about 4 months ago, and am lifting more for strength and power than for endurance. I do 3 sets of 8,7,6 reps.
some of my sets are:
Bench 270x8
275x7
285x6
Squat 315x8
335x7
345x8
Incline dumbbell press 85x8
90x7
100x6
Dumbbell flyes(flat bench) 55x8
60x7
65x6
Barbell curl 105x8
110x7
115x6
I do more but this is just a few. Should I stick with 8,7,6 or do more sets with less reps? I'm pushing 50 and I feel this really works for me but am open for suggestions.
