I've read a lot of brahs saying that Creatine was great for the gym but was leading to a lot of balding which in a lot of cases got better once they stopped taking creatine. I imagine this hair loss manifests for some as a result of the increased DHT from taking creatine.
Would taking an anti-androgenic supplement that lowers DHT be enough to counter Creatine's effect on DHT address this problem? Or could the negative effects of the anti-androgenic supplement on DHT be much greater than Creatine's positive effect on DHT? The supplement I'm thinking of specifically is a mushroom called Lion's Mane. It's known as a great supplement for mental purposes but does seem to have a negative effect on DHT

Stacking creatine with an anti-androgenic to counter increase in DHT and hair loss?

tbh I moreso just want to take Lion's Mane; having read great things about it, it seems like something I'd greatly benefit from.
Just don't want to deal with a tanked libido from it's possible negative effects on DHTVoices NEGGED without fear of being opinion crew

Balding is caused by genetics. Other factors may aggravate/speed it up somewhat, but creatine use in and of itself isn't going to cause you to become a baldcel. The reaper literally decides if, when, and to what extent of dues he will be collecting from the moment you are conceived. You're not going to dodge him just by refraining from taking creatine.
If you start balding, you can do everything you want to try to slow it down. But in the end, you just have to learn to embrace it, because there's nothing you can do to truly stop it. Even modern hair transplants are far from a sure thing, and even if they work, you'll eventually lose that too as the places you initially balded on are like trying to plant grass on salted earth. If it's any consolence, the fact that 2/3 men show noticeable hair loss by age 35 pretty clearly verifies that it's not a death sentence with women unless you're a puss about it and let it wreck your confidence.Last edited by northernlights7; 03-18-2019 at 07:47 PM.

most men by age 35 are whiteknights who refer to their girl as "the boss" and have no soul too though.
I'd rather kill myself than go bald [srs].
As a good looking guy I once got a buzz cut and it was fascinating but not in a good way. I would just go about my day and no girl would even as much as smile at me or check me out anymore, shyt was fukd. How do you even live with that much of a change. Was quite miserable tbh until my hair grew back.
Not balding rn but my dad is pretty much bald so I want to take steps to be as safe as possibleVoices NEGGED without fear of being opinion crew

Damn that sucks. Tbh so far lifting hasn't hurt my hair but I also use castor oil and cayenne pepper and a specific shampoo called dr regenepure along with nizoral every now and then.
My title is a bit miselading I guess bc I want a supplement that boosts DHT a lot so that I can take Lions Mane without any worries. It seems too risky otherwiseVoices NEGGED without fear of being opinion crew

Yeah because here we realize it’s all about your face. Why the fuk would you take something that makes you bloated as fuk by making you hold an insane amount of water for a temporary tiny increase is muscle? Let’s say it doesn’t increase DHT and the study that stated it did was BS. It’s still idiotic to take it.

Yea tbh I take zinc and magnesium, and have taken Ashwagandha in the past. If anything, it seemed to decrease libido. Apparently it can increase test while decreasing libido. Definitely way too strong of a herb to be taking without cycling, in my experience.
legit lol'd
lmao brah I didn't even realize that they moved this thread. Probably cause there were too many creatine jokes but I mean creatine as in literal creatineVoices NEGGED without fear of being opinion crew

Where did you post studies? Not here because "studies" and an actual understanding of how creatine works would have helped you avoid the flack.
This is the crux of where I don't think you understand how creatine works. If you mean bloating as in water retention in subcutaneous tissue, you're incorrect. Creatine saturation forces more water into your muscle cells, not fat. So if you consider your muscle cell swelling and getting larger a bad thing I'm not sure I get that mentality. If you mean that it causes bloating as in GI distress, that's possible, sure. But typically that's because some tried loading. It could also be because their guy just can't handle it. In that case, Creatine HCL is often the fix. Creatine is creatine.
So depending on how you define "bloated," not really. And if you define it the second way, then try HCL to rectify the problem."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
