Any good workout plans for skinny guys?

I'm having a difficult time trying to find a workout plan for myself. I'm wondering if you guys have any recommendations for a workout plan. I did some research and it seemed like I should be doing like 3-4 workouts high weights/low reps | 2-3 sets. I should be consuming around 3000+ calories a day I plan on tracking my calories to reach my required calorie intake. Also should I be working a muscle group 2 times a week or what?

So, this didn't already answer that or you didn't read anything written?
Choose one that meets your needs, matches your days available to train, and you find interesting.

Steve Cook's Big Man On Campus is a good program for beginning lifters, especially to gain size. That was my first plan and it worked brilliantly.

From the original post it looks like you're trying to gain strength. For that, I'd just recommend three simple rules of thumb: (#1) to gain strength, just modulate your ratio of "intensity" and "time under tension" however you need to at the time, in (#2) the workout that will stimulate you most metabolically (i.e., that will actually make you want to consume however many 'X' calories you want to), not forgetting to (#3) consume enough protein!
