There's no need to spend money here. The in-game loot is more than enough. I'm always finding something better.

You can get Ezio and *****r's outfits on Uplay for free... so if you want some variety, there it is. If you have Twitch Prime, you can redeem a bunch of weapons and a new mount for free as well.

As for ability points, I don't see why you'd unlock more than 1 for going up 1 level. The XP gained increases as your level increases, so there's not much slowdown in terms of progress. Better abilities require more ability points to unlock as these are typically things you work harder to obtain.

I bought the game and jumped in blindly without reading any reviews or feedback at all. Loved the first impression however as I go along through the game I'm just overwhelmed by all the minuscule things that you don't necessary need to do but feel like uncompleted if they don't get done. I want to restart the game on hard because normal is just too damn easy. Overall enjoying it so far just don't rush the game brahs.

Could careless about the mircotransactions or loot crates, haven't felt the need for those at all. Game is easy enough as it is and the weapons you get in game get the job done fairly easy. I don't see any point in spending real money for "better weapons". Only reason you should use real money is if you want a different outfit so you could look cool in Egypt.

Dont restart, I think you can change difficulty settings in-game. But yes, Hard is definitely the way to go .. I always play games on Normal, but these types of games usually require Hard otherwise its way too easy.

I've died more times in this game than probably all my deaths in previous AC games combined lol.

Lol yeah I haven't actually played on my xbone for a long time. Last time was during COD:AW lol.
I can get it for PC but would be nice if others can play it too that's why I'm considering Xbone.

And yeah, will probably get X1X down the road just waiting for holiday sale and bundles.

The only AC game i liked was The Black flag and thats due to the story and theme. I absolutely love this game, everything about it is better. The weight to the characters, the new fighting system, the graphics, the atmosphere etc..
If you are on the fence, pick this up.

I'll put it this way: Ubi has always missed so many opportunities to add RPG elements to make this a great series. They finally capitalize on all of those previously missed. This is the best game so far. This thing is huge, too.

Black flag we expected to be an AC game and got the greatest pirate game ever made. That's why its held in high regard.

If you're looking for alpha, stick in it for the main character. So far he's the most alpha main character yet srs. I feel more badass walking around as a wrathful Medjay than I ever did as a normal assassin.

Romans are also a HUGE part of the game. You visit entire roman cities and Caesar is a character as shown by the trailers. That said, I also think this game will win you over to Ancient Egyptian culture. It's one of the most notable past societies so you saying it's not really of note is pretty mindblowing.

I also haven't seen any SJW-classifiable chit yet. Quite the contrary so far actually [very slight spoilers]

The game has topless NPCs with 10/10 boobs walking around, the first thing his wifey does when he finds her is hop on his d, and there's a sidequest where you help out a Roman brah who's trying to get out of paying his b*tchy and racist (she seemed to hate romans and married him for money) new wife by murdering her bodyguard brothers lmao

This game is massive. I've spent the last 2 days exploring the areas outside of Alexandria and there's still so much more to see.

This game is not even AC anymore, can't blend in with crowds, can't throw money on the ground to escape, avoiding combat as much as possible unless last resort, way to action oriented for a mainly stealth game which i enjoyed. From what Ive seen stealth is baked in, not a core mechanic, AI can detect very easily now. I will still get it eventually though just for open world.

I'd go with what you enjoyed more in the past... AC BF/Syndicate/Unity or Shadow of Mordor.

This game is not even AC anymore, can't blend in with crowds, can't throw money on the ground to escape, avoiding combat as much as possible unless last resort, way to action oriented for a mainly stealth game which i enjoyed. The first game had you disguise yourself as a scholar essentially. I thought that worked much better than hiding behind people in groups. Most people hated those mechanics anyway.

One of the best things about Origins is that you're not punished for playing the game. You can approach the mission in any way you see fit.

You honestly cant go wrong either way brah.

Damn thats a hard choice. I have and love both for different reasons. The world in Origins is better (fking hnnnnnnng at the level design and beauty of Ancient Egypt) as is the main character who is likeable and alpha af. SoW has better combat and traversal, and the nemesis system adds so damn much to the experience. Those huge fortress sieges are also fking epic, like living the Battle of Helms Deep yourself over and over. They both have the same kind of Witcher 3 style story based side quests, but AC has more and they're slightly better done with more variety IMO. Both of them will take 20-30 hours to finish the campaign but much longer to 100% everything,

SoW wins in gameplay but Origins has a better story and world. It boils down to what you prefer. If I reeeeaaaaaaally had to pick one, AC just because Shadow of War was much more blatant about the inclusion of microtransactions. If this wasn't a factor though, I wouldn't be able to pick. They are both pretty tied and both will be phenomenal experiences.

I know a bit of my ancient Roman history, but I'd like far more context given to the Medjay, some of the places I visit and characters. It's madness that they excluded a feature that was always a staple of the series... I'd have preferred they delayed the game into next year so that they could have added the feature in... But I guess that "Tourist mode" which is coming in 2018 is gonna be its replacement ... Hopefully it's tied into the game and not a separate mode.

Fuk lol... I think I may have met a similar type guy at a camp. Huge dude, he was couple levels below me but he was tough as hell, wrecked me each time. Took me about an hour and legit like 6-7 turns to kill him and I only did it after setting a Lion and a bunch of prisoners on him lol.

shadow of war is just terrible compared to this game. I'll put it back in my PS again later down the line.

Technically, Origins stomps AC2. AC2 will always be GOAT though.

As someone who has Egyptian heritage and studied Egypt a lot, i feel obligated to play it and am also curious to see how they executed it, but I have high hopes. Last one i played was Black Flag, before that was the OG Ezio saga
