Can you build muscle with an irregular sleeping pattern?

Can you build muscle with an irregular sleeping pattern? Because of my current lifestyle I'll be going to sleep between 21:00 and 03:00 throughout the week but I'll always get 7-8 hours of sleep. Is this alright? Or do you also need a consistent sleep/wake cycle to build muscle?

    Thank you for any help

Yes, as long as you are training hard and eating in a caloric surplus, you will add on muscle.

While not optimal. Yes, you can muscle without a regular sleep schedule pending proper diet and training is in check. That being said rest and recovery are where muscle growth takes place so having a routinely optimal sleep cycle should yield better benefits.

Let's put it this way OP, progressive overload in your training and progressive eating is what builds muscle. In order to be able to properly progressivly overload on a consistent basis, you need to be able to recover between your lifting sessions. The biggest parts of recovery are both eating AND sleeping. If your body does not recover, you won't be able to properly progressively overload during each of your lifting sessions. You will want to make sleep a priority so as long as you're getting a good amount of sleep each night, you should be able to recover and build.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

If you are sleeping 7-8 hours that's fine. Why do you think it matters when you sleep vs how much you sleep? I wouldn't call your schedule irregular at all lol.

Sleeps is necessary for recovery, 8 hours my rule of thumb. I also add glutamine in there

Yes you can build muscle with your sleep schedule. Everybody has different requirements, but most require 7-8 hours.

For sure you can build muscle. The less sleep you get the more calories you need to take in because you will burn more. But like said above 7-8 is sufficient.
