What would you say is the main reason why people workout alone?

I go to the gym often, and you just cant help but realize that everyone is stuck on thier headphones working out alone.

Is it because they prefer working out alone; OR

is it because its sooo bludy difficult getting a GOOD workout partner?

I just wanted to know coz im thinking of approaching a couple guys i've seen a couple times. No homo.

I work out alone because I don't like wasting time. When I'm lifting I'm serious and super focused

I prefer it. It's one of the few times somebody isn't talking at or to me, or wanting something from me

Unless I'm with a trainer I don't want to be forced to socialise, although I'm fine to spot when asked

I prefer it. I can work at my own pace and not have to worry about what ANYONE else is doing.

This. Whenever I workout with a group of guys and doing the same workout, have realized that it's too easy to get distracted and just nonsense.

It's too hard to find a decent workout partner. Especially being a girl because my girlfriends don't care to get sweaty and guys are significantly stronger than I am and I'm not a huge fan of loading and unloading several plates on and off the bars and machines for every set. And you can also go at any time during the day without someone getting butthurt you went without them
