My weight has been up between 2 and 3 pounds fairly consistently since my birthday last Wednesday. I have been eating around maintenance over this period, but I've had a lot more carbs from pies, cakes, etc. I was pretty confident that it was water weight and not really indicative of fat gain. I have been back to my regular eating habits for 2 days now and I have already lost about 1.5 pounds of that weight again. Looks like I might be able to show either some progress, or at the very least no damage done, in this Friday's weekly update which will be rather nice.

So I messed up these past few days. Cheated every night and added about 10lbs, granted most of that is probably water weight. Posting here to hold myself accountable and will work a little extra the next couple days to get back to where I need to be.

I have a cold this week and has been increasing calories by 300-500 and decreasing amount of exercise for quicker recovery. Hoping that cold is gone by end of week.

I know I'm late to the party but I'm down! Going to be eating at a 1500-1800 cal deficit. Will weigh myself this AM. Good job to everyone so far by sticking with this!

My current AVI I was 193lbs I believe. These last 2 years have hit me hard with work and school. I feel like I'd do anything to get back in the shape I was in... but then my inner hippo orders a pizza lol. I wish I would have gotten in on this at the start with everyone but better late then never.

    Edit:
    Starting weight:210.8lbs
    Goal: 199lbs

I went from 156lbs last friday to 164lbs on Monday due to 3 days of different eating (2 takeaways although under my maintenance - lots of sodium). By today I was back to 156lbs.. water weight is a MF but it is simply that.. water weight.. all good man

Finally got my calorie counting under control (ie accurate) and my weight loss seems to be stabilizing around 1-1.2% a week. I should have a nice loss for weigh in day.

    Yep.
A few times I ate out and even when I had scooped sandwiches, i think that high salt content really screws you up.

Todays weigh in: 263,7 lbs, so that is 1,5 lbs lost since last week. This is now fourth week of this challenge and during this challenge I've lost now 7,1 lbs and my total loss in my weight loss journey is now 31,5 lbs. Upcoming week will be tough for my weight loss though, because I will go to a small trip and will not be able to track calories as usual.

Went up a tiny bit, ended up only starting the PSMF yesterday after another 4-5 days in hospital over the past week. I'm glad I'm managing to roughly maintain whilst all this is going on but looking at it and seeing a change of -2 pounds in 5 weeks is bumming me out a bit, hopefully this final week before the holiday is a big woosh one.

191.4lbs this morning and I won't ocmplain, given that yesterday I was exactly where I was last weigh in at 192.2lb

I am hopeful of hitting sub 190 next week, and then damnnnn, the landmarks will come thick and fast: "sub 190", "40lbs lost total", "3 stone lost total", "sub 185" ( > watch out Michael Bisping, I'll be coming for that middleweight belt then) "45lbs lost total" - July will be a good month :-D

Just need to make sure I don't "reward" myself with a victory cupcake after each little landmark :-/

Dang, DA. I hope you're doing ok. Just take care of yourself...

    ------------------

    6/2: 123.2
    6/9: 121.2
    6/16: 121.6
6/23: 124.2 / LO - need to replace batteries in scale, but it said 124.2 before LO

After some introspection, advice (err permission) seeking, I decided to increase cals and carbs a bit because I just feel like sludge on low carbs and low cals at this point. First week was great and then I was having a hard time dragging my arse out of a seated position. And I cannot watch beautiful days roll by from the couch. It will take a few more days to see where the scale settles at the current calorie/carb level to know what's going on with losses, but oh well. Honestly, focusing on the scale can really make me do some stupid things, squirreling away a couple hundred calories here and there. The recoil is bad, so I'm just shifting focus to a nice slow loss and striving to feel good on a moderate deficit. So that's my new definition of a good day: enough energy to enjoy the day + deficit. Results will not come as fast as I'd like, but at least I'll stay awake for the ride.

    Thank you

and awful lot to be said for feeling good.. take it easy..marathon not a sprint

So this week realized that my mental and physical state was taking a hit at 1600cals while lifting 5 days a week and adding 20mins of cardio on to each on of those days. So to compensate for my body rebelling against me I'm upping my cals to 1800. I also spent a few days this week eating a bit more because I was feeling sick. So in light of all that I am A-OK with my weigh today and am still on track to hit my target next month! I'm sure some of it is water weight; so I'll be getting rid of that this weekend!

So I've got back from my holidays (eating out every night) and after a couple of gym sessions I'm at 71.5kg (157.5lb). Not great but not as bad as I was expecting. I'm now laying off alcohol for 3.5 weeks so should see my weight drop quite quickly after this week. I'll be losing at least 0.5kg per week, if not more as I've started cardio again.

    I'll update Friday morning.
    SW = 71kg/156.5
    GW = 68kg/150

    Week 1: Friday 2nd June: 71kg/156.5
    Week 2: Friday 9th June: 70.5kg/155.5
    Week 3: Friday 16st June: 70kg/154.4
    Week 4: Friday 23th June: 72kg/158.7
    Week 5: Friday 30th June: 71.2kg/157.0
    Week 6: Friday 7th July: 70.5kg/155.5
    Week 7: Friday 14th July
    Week 8: Friday 21th July
    Week 9: Friday 28th July

    My biggest struggle:
Get home from work a bit later than I would like. Family stuff to take address. By the time its 9 or later, I just am too tired to lift or do cardio. Had a great journey so far from 173.5 to about 155.8, but getting so tough to lose the last few.

I would take that small increase every day of the week given you were away and eating/drinking out. Well played man.

Another half off and currently sat at 155lbs.. lightest I have been in 15 years but numbers/strength still creeping up during workouts

    Deadlift - 165kg (363lbs) 1RM - 140kg for reps
    Squat - 105kg (231lbs) 1RM - aint tried to push squat in a while - 90kg for reps
DB Bench Press - 32.5kg (71lb) Dumbbells for 10 reps

Can't wait to see what happens to my numbers when I trans to a bulk in August. The 200kg (440lb) deadlift is my ultimate goal before 2018 which would be a 2.75 times body weight... here's to dreaming

    Good luck today everyone

Well after my cheats last weekend ZI stayed pretty strict all week. Weighed in at 185.8 this morning. Hoping to be back down to 181 by the middle of next week. Cheating is sooo not worth it.
