    I'll take it. I'm actually much lighter than 227, but I'm submitting my 'trend' weight, not my actual weight. I prefer tracking my trend weight as it smoothes out inevitable fluctuations and tells me if i'm truly losing or not.

    Week 1 has me down 4.5 lbs to 173.5. Happy with that! One more week (and a bit) left of killing it before I go on holiday. I need to lose 1.5 lbs this week to get my 10 stone award before I go (only UK people will get that I guess ha) so hoping to do at least that. Getting down to 170 (my previous goal) would be cool though.
    Started on October 26th 2015.

    TDEE calculator said that I could cut around 2700 calories. I'm really skeptical about this and I've been eating around 2200 calories. But hey, I'll give it a shot for a while. If it works, great. If it doesn't, weight loss speed will take a hit.

    Was about to politely point out that 170lbs isn't 10 stone when I realised you meant 10 stone LOST!! That is so incredible!
    Every now an again I pick up a 25lb/30lb/(soon to be) 35 lb dumbbell and think "wow, I have lost this much weight" but man, imagine picking up a 10st PERSON, squatting them, and thinking that's how much you have lost.

    Smart!! I'm too inconsistent on weighing (only have carpet downstairs and don't trust the scale on carpet, and usually get dressed before going upstairs) but I'd like to try that someday.

    TDEE is such a moving target, sometimes just the drop in calories causes you to subconsciously preserve energy and not move around as much (effectively lowering TDEE), so try to ensure you're getting your 10K steps per day if you have a way to track that!

    Haha thanks man! Yeah my sister is always pointing out how I've lost more than she weighs hahaha. And hey, good job on your loss too! 35 lbs is awesome. I only lost 10 stone because I had to!

    weigh day tomorrow, should be good! I still got a ways to go to 10%, but i can tell that i've made good progress this week. My skin feels so tight today with my muscles underneath, I feel like I can flex hard enough and tear myself out of my own skin lol - feels weird, but good.

    I'm back on IF - I think it's best for me. Feels much easier to stay under my calorie limit with only an 8 hour feeding window, rather than trying to pace my eating all day. Also I love not having to worry about breakfast or food in general for 16 hours a day

    Went to the hospital this morning for some blood work for my medicine, and the nurse asked me about breakfast and i told her i don't eat til 12 anyways because i do IF

    and she kept pressing me on about how it's not good for me and that i need to eat breakfast and i'm putting my body in "starvation mode" which is only going to make me store more fat.

    she was fat as hell btw, they always seem to have the most advice to give :/

    it's 2017 and I live in the US, how are people working in hospitals still this clueless? i hate this world so much!!

    Awww, geez. Yea. Of all the fat loss myths, is that not the most absurd? You know, I have a lot of respect for my family doctor and I trust her judgment regarding medications, tests, and diagnoses. She is thorough - and she has kept up with research in so many areas - in areas in which some doctors I've talked to claim ignorance of new info. But last year, as we were talking about my challenges with postpartum fat loss and I told her how low in cals I was going, she said, "Don't go low. Your body will go into starvation mode." (where's disappointed bertstare) A doctor, by gawd. And a pretty studious one at that. Why, oh why, oh how how how can anyone believe that you'll start gaining fat if you eat too little? There should be a national awareness campaign to address this. Of all the myths out there regarding fat loss, this has to be the most damaging. Certainly worse than the notion of a magical diet or perfect macro ratio or perfect rep scheme.

    But if it makes you hate the world I think you're a bit melodramatic.

    Excellent job, everyone!

    My weight is bouncing between a new low (152.8) and a slight uptick (154.8 this morning). We'll see where I am on Friday, but it's interesting to see how my weight fluctuates daily. I think the past couple of days have been a relic of higher carb and higher sodium resulting in some water retention -- I've been hitting my calorie targets, so it's not a true gain. Just have to have some tactical patience here.

    I am actually at the point where I like seeing how much weight fluctuates by (it just fascinates me, i dont know why)
    Take last Sunday, I got up about 4am to watch the UFC, I weighed 199-something - by time it had finished 2 hours later I was down at 195-something.

    I didn't drink any fluids in that time, but that is a lot of bodyweight to lose through dehydration (assuming of course that is what it was)
