So confused by what my body is doing.
I have not really concentrated on cut for past 2 weeks. My last weigh in was 154.1.
I definitely had some evening splurges, ate a few burgers, fries, and a couple treats. Stopped all supps due to illness including the creatine. Wasn't sure what was causing dizziness. Better now.
At one point scale was tipping 157.00 just the other day. I did start reloading creatine 3 days ago, but not "loading". Just 5 grams daily. I figured I couldn't lose all my previous creatine in just 10 days.
But, weighed in today at 154.1 Essentially same weight????
The creatine up and downs, water weight up and downs, making it a bitch to really track where I am at.
I also can't really use body fat % to track since that seems to vary with who checks it for me and the difference between 13 and 14% or 12 and 13% is minimal.
Still trying for about 151 to 152. Just want a little more off abs. PITA.

Starting weight: 247 lbs
Week 1: 244.8 lbs
Week 2: 245.4 lbs
Week 3: 239.7 lbs
Week 4: 236.2 lbs
Week 5: 235.8 lbs
Week 6: 233.0 lbs
Week 7: 232.1 lbs
June/July Goal Weight: 230 lbs
I've been weighing in on Saturday morning instead of Friday, partly due to the timezone difference (Australia), and partly so I don't have to rush off to work, so if I don't like my first weigh in, I can try to lose a bit of water weight in a hot shower etc. This morning my water weight seemed particularly bad (Wed: 230.8 lbs, Thu: 230.7, Fri: 230.7, Sat: 233.1 first thing, then 232.1 after shower, toilet and a bit of fasting). I think the gain in water weight is because I did a pretty intense weight-training workout late last night (dumbbell chest press and bent over rows), so maybe my muscles are retaining water while they recover?
My body composition scales support this theory - they estimate that my water weight has gone up 3 lb since yesterday, but I wouldn't really trust them to measure a one-day change - they seem more useful for tracking a "moving average" i.e. how my average water weight over the past 7 days changes.

P Grizzle present and accounted for.
186.6lb at weigh in. Managed to hit lower in the week so not gonna stress. Got a fairly laid back weekend to enjoy now so I should be able to maintain my deficit easily (which last week, definitely did NOT happen, surplus on both Saturday and Sunday, and I LOVE it haha). Likely hit the goal weight of 185 a week early all thinigs going well...famous last words.
Will have to reevaluate at the end of July truly, but will likely continue the cut into August. I do think I'm carrying a little too much lower back fat still. Repping the love handles strong!
Using bf calipers, I'm at like 12% on my abs, but the back is still rocking 16-18%. Suppose it's better this way round than the other (all the flabs on the abs :-/ ) so I won't complain."Through Calorie-counting all things are possible" : Phil 19:26

Whoops, forgot to post here for a couple of weeks. So came back from holiday with a 12.5 lb gain. Lost 6 lbs the first week back and 3 lbs the week after (didn't hit it as hard as I would have liked to in that 2nd week, in all honesty). Not too unhappy though, hoping to have that 3.5 lbs off this week and then all damage is reversed.
Don't think OP is updating any more but current weight is 175.5!Getting back into it!
Start Weight (2015): 312 lbs
Lowest Weight (2018): 168 lbs
Current Weight: 250 lbs

Weight all over the place. I keep making the mistake of weighing in every day. 24 to 48 hours after a good lift, weight climbs a good 1# plus due to water retention. But, than settles back down after another 2 days.
Really hoping to cross 153. I don't think 152 is quite going to get me to body fat of 10%.
Might have to drop to 150. But, I think I am promising myself that 150 is it. Psychologically, I don't think I want to drop below 150 at 5'9".

Was 186.0 on the nose last week - 1 lb to goal weight, 1 week to go, let's get some!
Will definitely keep cutting through August having had a couple weeks of slow losses. Really want to lose these teeny tiny love handles so i can clean bulk from a solid 10% bf starting point."Through Calorie-counting all things are possible" : Phil 19:26

The Protein & Mixed Nuts Breakfast program that I read about on mavasports.com works great for fat-loss! It's a high protein breakfast, so that suppresses cravings throughout the day.
"Meat Protein - because of high protein content, meat allows a steady raise in blood sugar levels throughout the day. As opposed to carbs that offer a quick boost for the day, protein will give you more fuel to last throughout the day.
Mixed Nuts - they provide healthy fats that keep blood sugar levels stable for a longer time. Nuts help maintain a healthy heart and support consistent energy and focus throughout the day."

If you or someone does start a new thread count me in, again. I have faded out the last few times, but ready to start again and make it a strong finish to the end of the year. Then continue there after.
Haven't posted since wife and I have been busy with family parties and eating way too much. I have said this before but the wife and I are starting in August. Truthfully we have started but no turning back after August.
This time I am not going to add "hope to start/ hope to finish" since we ARE going to start AND finish.@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

My success in this thread will be determined by my weigh-in tomorrow. This morning I weighed 169.0 pounds for the 2nd consecutive day. If I can get a threepeat at that weight tomorrow morning I'll make my goal of 7-day average at 170 for the last weekly weigh-in. That would be a one pound loss this week, which I'd happily take.

Ok, so my starting weight was 270,8 lbs and goal weight was 258 lbs. I fell of the wagon a little bit during my summer vacation and thus did not reach my goal. This week I'm back on tracking my calories etc. and today my weight is 260,4 lbs, so it is still a little over 10 lbs lost so I'm happy about that.
