Smile How Long Should I Spend In The Gym????

I know this gets asked a lot and I've done some reading, but I want someone to tell me that my time in the gym is suffiecnet as I believe it is, to me anyway.

I spend as little as 20 minuets in the gym but come out feeling pumped and proud of the work out, I don't sit around between sets on my phone I just get on and do it.

Love to here some feedback 👍

Depends what you're doing, I could go rock some arms for 20 mins and come out with a pump but that doesn't mean it was a great workout. Are you following any kind of plan/schedule or do you just go do things for 20 minutes?

Don't ask people to tell you how long to spend in the gym. Sorry to be harsh, but none of know how long you need to spend to get the job done. One person's two hours may be another's 45 min.
    - Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

What are the specifics of your program? Pump means little.

What are your goals for working out (what are you trying to accomplish?)

Hard to get a complete workout in under 45 minutes, even with minimal rest.

20 minutes sounds like too little time to be productive tbh.

What are you doing in the gym? What are your lifts? How are you progressing?
    You can't help the hopeless.

The point of working out is to tear down the muscle as much as possible in a small time frame. This means that even though its possible there was some tearing of muscle fibers in your twenty minute workout you would benefit more from a workout of a longer duration. Maybe some where between 45min to an hour. Next workout try pushing yourself a little more. Sure you might get a pump in those twenty minutes but you are certainly not getting the most out of that days worth working out for 20 minutes. This is based off my experiences, best of luck to ya.
