I don't know what's sadder at this point, his level of cognitive functioning or the sick (no pun intended) comments on his more recent videos. Everyone loves to troll Jason a bit because it's frankly hilarious, but half the comments on his videos these days are wishing death upon Jason, wishing his mother gets cancer etc etc. Its gone way to far now and what makes it even worse is that these comments get tons of likes as well so it's not just a small group of twisted fuks.

For the sake of his well being his YouTube and social media need to shut down ASAP and he needs to be administered some serious therapy, if not put into a home. It's just getting sad at this point.

I don't think that Jason is drugged up or retarded. I think he has learned to jump on current events in order to make money like other people do on youtube. So he wakes up, hears about a hurricane heading towards Florida on the news and decides to make a youtube video about it. But he's got nothing to say on the subject and hasn't thought it through and so just rambles incoherently for 60 seconds. If you notice the only videos where he talks coherently and articulately about something are those in which he is talking about bodybuilding. And that's because it's the topic he's spent time reading and thinking about. I also think that Jason has developed a persona which isn't really him. When Jonny secretly recorded Jason and talked to him about things like his mother and the misfits he always seemed more thoughtful and normal. He's become a bit of a clown in his own videos. "It sick, it piss". He probably thinks he's giving the fans what they want. Like he's a WWE superstar saying his catchphrases.

Yeah it sucks. It all started around the Adam era when he became more known on 4chan and Reddit(coincidentally I think that's when poonycheeps ruined the ments here)

After that we got the pisstrooper and ratprick groups.

He can speak normally if he tries hard. He mostly only does it when trying to sound professional. Got a similar guy in my part of the city that does the same thing, except he begs for batteries or change and talks about some other nonsense every time. Everyone within like 50 block radius knows the guy.

I would wager that over the JG era, 99% of the people that know him in his out and about videos know him because of his daily visits being "that guy", not originally YouTube.
