    Feeling like sh**

So I'm new to the fitness world. I am on my first prep for a bikini competition and am 12 weeks out. My coach has had me at 1200 calories for over a month now. I was 14%body fat when I started and 3 weeks ago I was down to 12%. Long story short. I totally caved today and are the **** out of all things carbs. How bad is this going to affect my body and what should I do to recover from my lack of self control today?! 😂😅😥😥😥

So you're nearly contest lean, are 12 weeks out, only eating enough for a toddler, and are surprised you went full ham and ate all the carbs?

OP- you shouldn't be starving like this. One day going off your diet won't mess you up, but you're setting yourself up for continued problems if you go don't change your plan.
    You can't help the hopeless.

Everyone's body responds quite differently, especially to a dramatic spike like you mentioned. One thing to consider - I know you ate all carbs, but calorically was it that bad of a day? Also - 12 weeks out so you have time left, I wouldn't worry about it.
Check in with your coach - see what they say.
