CDC: Only 5% of covid deaths are from covid

    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/c...#Comorbidities

Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The number of deaths that mention one or more of the conditions indicated is shown for all deaths involving COVID-19 and by age groups. For over 5% of these deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned on the death certificate. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death. For data on deaths involving COVID-19 by time-period, jurisdiction, and other health conditions
I looked up a history of pandemics going all the way back to biblical times and couldn't find a single one that left healthy people so completely unscathed. Weird.

The obvious response to this type of threat is to stay inside, reduce physical activity, watch fear porn, and gain weight. Only after this has been accomplished can we return to (new) normal.

Which makes the flu deadlier lol. 330k “covid” American deaths in 2020 (less 94% that had comorbidity) is 20k American deaths due to Covid without co-morbidity. 20k deaths compared to even half the 2018 influenza deaths still makes influenza far deadlier or…. Covid19 is simply influenza rebranded with non-stop media histrionics, padded stats and inaccurate testing. congrats cuck, you finally played yourself. Reading comprehension of piss, I just don't even. The fact that someone has multiple other comorbities doesn't mean that the virus didn't kill them.

No, that does not make the flu deadlier. Seasonal flu death totals include influenza and its attributable pneumonia deaths together. Even during the worst flu seasons, only around 4,000 deaths were ever listed as being from influenza. Nearly all the deaths are from the pneumonia deaths that estimated to be from influenza. Using the same measures, the covid burden is around 3-5x worse.

Pneumonia and respiratory failure are the two most common comorbidities. I don't know what point you're trying to make by willingly misinterpreting what you're reading but you can just say "if you're old or fat you might die, otherwise you're probably fine" and be correct.

Go away with your reasoning and logic, we'll have none of that here.
    their logic is that

since COVID alone didn't kill people, COVID isn't dangerous

even though millions of Americans have underlying health issues that would complicate their COVID case

Fortunately, a majority of Americans can put two and two together

This. Pneumonia deaths and flu deaths are lumped together as respiratory deaths, but in my country pneumonia deaths are 4/5 respiratory illness deaths. Flu is 20%.

I literally just got back from a cardiac arrest where a 38 year old guy was positive for covid, had just gotten out of the hospital 3 days ago, and he dropped dead in his living room.
    I would die for Palestine

I wonder what % of the US adult population would be defined as having comorbidities. Would def be interested if someone has the stat. I'm guessing its around 80%

I'm reading about 75% of US adults are overweight/obese

Maybe I should bump my guess to 85 or 90%

So even if you machine gunned 100 people at random, you would still be able to say "only 10% died with only a bullet"

I'm not sure why libtards in this thread are pointing out that comorbidities are a thing? Of course they are, and people that are at risk should take measures to protect themselves. My point, and apparently I didn't make this clear enough for some people, is that previous diseases we have labeled pandemics killed healthy people without the help of a comorbidity.

The black plague, for example, would kill a perfectly healthy human being. The spanish flu, the russian flu, the bubonic plague. People under 80 years old were at a very high risk of death from these diseases. I can't find any other disease that on its own had an under 5% kill rate that we called a pandemic.

I'm assuming you are calling me out in there since I brought up comorbidities too

    1. I'm not a liberal
    2. I agree that the virus isn't as deadly as many think it is
    3. I still think it has killed a lot of people, and those deaths count even with comorbidities depending on the case. though this doesn't warrant lockdowns etc
