Mine is 90 or so. Unlimited data from a grandfathered plan...never switched carriers.

$15 a month for unlimited calls and a hefty amount of data. It's a cheat code for phones.

If you are trying to get your phone bill as low as possible, tmobile has a 15/mo prepaid plain with 2GB of data (tmobile connect). Hard to beat that if you don't use a lot of data

I’d be game for getting on one of those cheaper - non brick in mortar business - deals that unitizes one the the major networks, and passes savings to you.


My problem is I can’t tolerate de-prioritization of data speeds that comes with it - and often data speed drop off past a certain number of gigs.


I have to have unlimited and fast data.



I pay $460 a month for my family’s bill- 4 phones, 3 computers on a phone line.

IDK what the colors represent for olympic lifters, but the bumper plates I use are the same size as the traditional 45LB plates. So a 25lb bumper plate would look like a 45lb plate, also those bars in your pics(minus the olympic lifter) are probably only 25- 35lbs.

There's a women's version of the olympic barbell, because its thinner and easier to grip for smaller hands
And those black bumper plates could be anything. The thinner ones in first pic could be just 10lbs

These are likely KG plates so the reds would be 25kg and the yellow 15kg and there is a white change plate outside the collar which is 5kg I think

I do believe a lot of R&P does not do traditional lifting - I've moved away from a lot of barbell exercises as I've aged and gone to dumb-bell only out of consideration for injury.

Ngl, I'm pretty bummed out on my birthday today. We went back into lockdowns a week ago so practically everything aside from grocery stores is closed and my sciatica is still too bad to go hiking or anything too physical for too long.

How are things going with your sciatica? I know it is a bear, having gone through it.

Mine eventually did resolve itself after taking time off, a lot of anti inflammitories, and cobra stretches and some decompression type things. Don't give up if it's still with you.

I still make my attempts, but have made changes over time. Box squatting with a safety squat bar and using a trap bar for legs.

I don't deadlift. I add reverse hyper and GHD and back raises, though.

I do a regular bench, but only am at 215 atm.

Have gotten squats up to 300 with more to go I feel.

I got a part time job push brooming covid corpses into incinerators. I'm developing old man strength now.

I mostly use hammer (or that type) leverage machines or legs and chest - some back - cable machine for pull down/row- and dumbbells for shoulders.


I’ll still deadlifts now in then solely for the pure alpha feel I gives lol- but to too heavy

I recently moved to an area which is quite sparse and remote; twice the size of Texas with about 0.4% of the population, and just by pure luck I happen to be down the street from the biggest gym in the entire region. They've got an actual machine for vertical leg presses which is quite handy. For years, every once in a blue moon when I actually did that exercise I improvised with the smith machine which was just awkward and weird.

Supposed to get married in September. That's fine. The wedding though...really not looking forward to that. I'm Lebanese, and she's Turkish, so we both come from places that have very strong and unavoidable traditions that must be carried out during the wedding. To start off, there's no such thing as a small Lebanese wedding, which is what i would have preferred. 400, 500, 600+ people is fairly standard. Tightly knit communities, and big families (also no such thing as family members not being close, which i understand but find so weird about Americans). The only part i like about our weddings is that they're always giant parties. Lots of drinking, eating, dancing etc..

Here are some of the traditions that i'm really, really not looking forward to. Just picking what i could find off of YouTube:

The entrance is a disaster. This is how the bride and groom would enter. The drummers would usually be your friends/family




Then there's the Dabke dance, which i guess is similar to your square (?) dance in terms of oh god please no, except it's more pervasive. No such thing as a Leb adult who doesn't know how to do the dabke. If you can't, you'd likely be treated as an Israeli spy.




And at some point, the Derbakke players need to make an appearance. This is sort of our national instrument. I actually like this instrument.
