I don't hold his one hit wonder status against him. Yeah, his other works sucked (his short stories before Catch 22 are just ****ing miserable), but goddamn Catch 22 is great. It's up there with Huck Finn. Heller achieved greatness. That's enough.

Most people will only have one or two really good ideas in their life and more power to those who manage to record them in one way or another

Jeremy Leven’s novel Satan is one of the most clever/fun/original books I’ve ever read and beyond that the bloke couldn’t write a pamphlet for a retirement village

Yes i remember the undying loyalty part, but i have no recollection of sharing my newly purchased rubs.

Bought a ton of dry rubs, mostly BBQ-y types. Using them on everything except prime cuts of beef.

There is a certain thread I have been trying to post in for the last three days. Each time I get an error. If I post about it in a new thread or this thread I get an error saying the thread is taking a break. Odd.

Edit: The only reason I could post here is because I deleted all references and words relating to the thread. lol

Edit: I even tried to paste my response to Iceman in an edit to this post and it won't let me. I can't even mention the thread name or the name of the wannabe Texas Senator (B E T O) it was about without getting the error. I've tried tricking the system but to no avail.
