Collapsed at work during a zoom meeting. Kidney shutdown, got an infection and I got really sick like really fast. Didn't think I was going to make it. Fever still over 103 and I have antibiotics. They let me go home with appointments to speed up nephrology and dialysis. I was shaking like you see on tv when people have hypothermia and my skin changed colors. I work from home so my wife was great.

I will begin dialysis in the coming months if damage is permanent. Nephrologist I see tomorrow, my fever stopped today. Egfr was 20 in the hospital but we didn't do a full urine test, I expect to do that next week. My egfr was 70 a few months ago, I don't know what happened.

I'm expecting nephrology to tell me that an infection happened and damaged my kidney. I am hoping that my gfr goes back up since infection is going away. Egfr is based on an estimate due to creatinine, I don't think anybody cares for me to type up a whole thing about how it works.

I want my bulletproof truck.

Mostly hanging out with my son doing what he wants to do. He's going off to college soon so trying to get as much time in as possible. We started fishing recently so been doing that a lot. He likes going to the range too, and practicing on the punching bag at the gym
