~1.6 scoops of Reign down the hatch about...13 minutes ago.
I have another descriptor for the isee fury flavor. Medicine. IDK what kid of medicine, or what flavor, or necessarily why I think that, but it tastes like medicine to me.

Before taking Reign, kind of asleep on couch, heart rate 72 BPM. About 20 minutes after taking, HR 88 BPM. After walking around the house to change clothes and take a dump, nothing more, 28 minute after, heart rate 110 BPM and sweating (HR on smart watch)
Edit: First warmup, band pull aparts and press 45x10 HR 123 and already feel as though I'm warmed up and amped and ready lol
Press 135x5 HR is 157 lol. For reference I can press that for 13-15 reps in a set.
I looked back at my notes recently and decided not to use Rein for squats especially volume squats. My BP and HR did go up more than they do on other pres, the stims are just so strong so they do it directly and then I worked so ****ing hard it did it even more lol. I don't think there's anything wrong with the numbers I had but I just feel better I think using it on an upper day and doing Kraken for big squat stuff. My BP etc is pretty darn good right now but I don't have heredity on my side here and I used to be medicated for high blood pressure for years so I'm a bit weary/wary/idkspellLast edited by Farley1324; 08-19-2017 at 11:34 AM.

Gave the wifey a scoop and a half this morning, no sides for her either. We weren't measuring heart rate or anything, and she did look to be sweating more than usual, but she said she had a really nice, smooth buzz from it. Now she's frantically cleaning the place lol
Will report back after trying it for deads tomorrow. Went with Nutrabolics Supernova with TeaCrine this morning to make sure I wasn't doing any of the big boy stims for 3 days in a row.Squat and Deadlift

I took it 2 hours ago now, just finished lifting (didn't do full session, still getting over this cold), feel good. Heart Rate after the last set of bench/chins was actually a little lower than it was after the last press warmup with 135. I wonder if I should try the (never have before) take it with a banana (or whatever) trick instead of my usual empty stomach to soften the first hit

About to head home and try 1.5 scoops of Re1gn for squats! Plan on trying Krusherz since I haven't seen much about that flavor.

It's on the heavier squat day, other day is a speed day. I think it's supposed to be heavy squat variation + less specific deadlift variation (like a good morning) or vice versa, but last week was box squat versus bands + conventional versus chains and neither of those are easier so maybe she's just trying to kill us lmao. Nah but seriously I think it's a slow transition to get closer to what Westside is doing as the team gets more experience, getting rid of the second lower max effort day for now, and also to get the equipped girls ready for the cns death from doing a ton of geared work at meets.
Lmao I cannot figure out reverse grip for the life of me. It is a pitiful percentage of my regular bench.Olympus Labs Representative

TFW the new supp closet is more than 4 times the size of prior. Everything fits on two shelves with three others and the floor empty.

That sounds like so much fun. Been kind of exploring Westside lately, still sticking to my 5/3/1 cause it's working for me, but Louie's methods intrigue me. I've never done any of the big 3 with bands or chains, but it looks like a badass way to train.
Nice haul man!Squat and Deadlift

Ya it seems like a complicated program and one that I wouldn't have all the equipment for. I like the simplicity of 5/3/1, and whats more is I like the freedom it gives with jokers, amraps and assistance work. Plus I just enjoy actually performing the big 3 regularly. Regardless, Westside looks like fun. If I had a coach to take the reigns with my programming, and all the necessary equipment, i'd love to give it a try sometime. I've also read that instead of bands and chains you can just use a higher percentage to calculate your working loads, but I can't see that having the same effect as a band or chain that get's harder to move the closer you get to lockout.

Dave Tate wrote my programming for 18 months [srs].
If you have questions about some concepts I may be able to at least parrot some knowledge so feel free to PM me.
General training principles aren't incredibly complicated but peaking for a meet certainly can be.NOV || Ohio Chapter || Be more, have less.
