I've often imagined what it would feel like to have a kid on the way, for real, and it's goddam terrifying. Not even exciting. The exciting part, for me, is imagining teaching and guiding the kid from like 4 years old onward. Especially golf/fishing when he's like 12+. The whole early part is just unappetizing. From talking to friends with kids, I know I'm completely wrong about what it'll actually be like, but that's my perspective now, not being a father.

all meat diet going awesome. never felt better in my life. never had more energy. and fat disappearing quickly. should be below 10% bf within a month or two.

I'm just starting to wander back into the forums again! So happy to see so many familiar names still floating around!

But serious questions... it's been a minute since I've been going hard at the gym, i'm back. BUT! I can't find a Pre that can compare with Jack3d. I smuggled a bunch before they quit selling it and i'm out now. My gym is at my house now (separate building on the lower half of my property) so I need a PRE that's going to kick in asap, it takes me about 5-10 minutes to get to my gym and my PRE isn't even kicking in until half way through my workout.

Second, I don't have a leg press at my house and that was one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Any suggestions on moves that can substitute?

usually just 2 big ribeyes. sometimes I'll cook some ground beef patties and put an egg and some cheese on top. very occasionally fish or chicken. but beef is all you need for optimal health, which sounds fukking crazy, but after the dozens of hours of research I've done over the past several months, it's true.

I noticed that too. Misc is still real busy but I wasn't negged once in there yesterday so times have changed for sure!

Any plans for St. Paddy's day? Hubby's best friend's birthday is on the 17th, so we are going downtown and see what mischief we can get up to. I haven't drank in a while, so...I'm a little scared at my tolerance level. But, I won't walk away from a challenge. lol

I'll get blood work done in a couple months. But cholesterol is the brunt of a lot of crap science. Small LDL particles are bad, but on low or zero carb diets, while LDL will go up, it tends to be the big, fluffy particles and not the small dense ones. The small ones are the ones that clog arteries. And from the blood work of people on this diet that I have seen, across the board triglycerides go down, HDL up, and LDL up also (but again, need to consider particle size).

No plans for St Paddy's Day. Probably do work around the house. gf will cook some corned beef. Boring, but just how I want it. Have some Jameson & Guinness for me pls.

Drunkest I've ever driven was 6-7 years ago leaving St. Paddy's Day in Hartford. So goddam stupid. Very lucky to have gone so many years without a DUI.

just wait til he starts walking. when my goddaughter started walking I was terrified. she always looked like she was teetering, about to fall. I guess they're resilient and are designed to fall a lot, but seeing this cute little fragile girl teetering all over the house like a degenerate drunk raised my blood pressure.

last time I visited was January. probably go back this fall. love it there but don't think I could live there. one nice thing is that I feel like a physically large person there, ducking under doorways and sh*t. and I've had more than a few people feel and squeeze my arms, amazed at how big they are. raff out roud

I have only been to Saesebo, I believe it is spelled. I did not enjoy it. It might possibly have been the most boring place I've visited in my time in service, srs. Super clean, people were fantastic, just wasn't much there.

I try to buy as much as I can either from a Farmers Market, butcher shop, or homegrown. Srs. I try to avoid the grocery store, but if I have to go I purchase mostly organic, and I try to research the brands. Srs. It is a battle. lol

Even for Baby James, we get organic carrots, broc****, cauliflower, peas and such - and make most of his food from that vs buying Gerber or some of those other brands. You get a lot more for your buck also.

I've been taking natural test supp pills off and on for a while too. they help a bit. probably do replacement therapy around when I turn 40 or whenever it seems necessary.

I'm not doing a strict keto diet, but am doing all meat, zero carb, and it took 2-3 weeks for me before the lethargy wore off and I actually felt my body make the switch to using fat. I remember going for a run one morning and was just like, "wtf is this, I feel like I could run 50 miles right now". constant energy and focus throughout the day. love it.

I think fasting leading up to going keto is a great idea though. makes perfect sense that it would jumpstart ketosis.

I don't do any weird diets like that, sorry, I cannot help. I just try to eat healthy all around. I'm not a huge fan of some of the odd restrictions those diets can consist of.

No, I had a baby girl so i'm working at getting back. It's nothing crazy, but I need to lose about 12 lbs, which has me super depressed so i'm hitting the gym harder. I refuse to buy bigger pants, so it's my only choice.

One of the cool things about not going to the gym and then going back is I actually had a starting point where I can measure and watch myself gain muscle and lose weight. I was shocked to see how little I was able to bench when I started working out again. I'm still doing my splits but focusing a lot more on cardio so that I get that under control.
