I used rem oil spray because that's what was nearby, but either of the above would probably work fine inside the pulley. Once they're lubed up well they spin really nicely.

Another thing to look at is the plastic sleeve inside the weight carriage that rides against the tube. On one of my towers the sleeve doesn't fit as tightly on the tube and it does sound rougher than the other tower. In my case it doesn't actually seem to make the pull noticeably worse (if I wore earplugs/blindfold I doubt I could tell you which tower had the scraping sleeve) but hearing it does make my brain think it's not as smooth. I might try some UHMW tape or something like that to take up the slack between the sleeve/tube if I ever get tired of it.

Overall I'm really happy with the v3 towers, and used some extra crossmembers to attach them to one of my racks and make a poor man's cable crossover.

Weight/pulley should be centered, just like a barbell over you in the bottom of the back squat. I don't understand how people and even manufacturers can **** up something this basic and simple. Then again, nothing about humanity should really surprise me anymore.

I just put together my Titan H-PND, took like 3 hours by myself. Got a few sets in at 30lb to 70lb. My lower back feels like there's icy hot on it, or salonpas. Is this normal?

I lubed it a bunch, and it still isn't amazing. I think it has to do with extra room on the post as you mention. I do have some UHMD tape somewhere. Now, I just have to get all that lube off to make it stick.

It seems smooth with heavier loads, just not light loads.

Looks like they stopped taking preorders already. I thought about preordering, but didn't wanna be part of the unofficial beta testers.

Titan produces outdoor/farm equipment as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they're reusing wheels they already had for another (non-fitness) product line.

Think Rogue offers something similar as an ad-on, so Titan is one upping them by making it standard.

For $70 more it is probably best to stick with the tried and tested Assault Bike through Rogue. They both offer free shipping.

I've had a schwinn Air dyne evo comp for over 20 years now. I have plenty of space for a stationary location now but that wasn't always the case. Think about moving a 100+ pound of equipment after a Hiit session. I am thinking they might be pretty effective negotiating things like horse mats and the like.

Figures that Titan would decide to take the seal row bar back to full price just as I decide I should order one.

Decided to try out some prone/seal row stuff after seeing urban's setup. Part of a Dynamic storage unit with an old Power block pad on top. Feels great, so I'll make it a bit more permanent. I'll have to move my bar storage somewhere else if I do order the seal row bar.

Waited a couple days and Titan put the seal row bar back on clearance, so with a 5% coupon + some points it was a little over 100 shipped. Now I'll just have to figure out where to relocate the bar storage at the back of the rack so I can use the longer bar.

Does the Seal Bar work as well/same as a cambered bar? How would the Rogue rackable trap/hex bar work for this excercise?

I missed this, but no, I don't think you could *easily* set it up so the legs are adjustable like the Elite one. The whole unit is made up of 3 main pieces: the frame/handles and the 2 legs/plate pegs. The frame sits right on top of supports welded onto each leg and it would require a lot of cutting/welding to make the legs adjustable. If you want to adjust the height it's probably better to cut a bunch of stall mat chunks and either stand on them to make it a deficit pull or put them under the feet to raise the height.

You talking about one like the Rogue version? Guessing it's pretty similar with maybe easier setup with the Titan version.

A trap bar would work fine for neutral grip prone rows.

There's a few of them on the market. I can only assume they were designed by an orthopedic surgeon who saw 30-something crossfitters doing kipping pullups and thought "there has to be a way to speed up this revenue stream."

Yes, that is what I was talking about. But I can't find that Rogue bar sold seperately.

It's on the same page as their row bench for $285 (not in stock).

I just received my Titan Safety Squat Bar. Must say so far so good. The comfort level makes it feel like a Hack Squat and Leverage Squat without the machines. I never used an other squat bars so can’t compare but the 2.0 version from Titan is really good!

I am under the impression that it rotates as you move your hands. So I think it would be like climbing a ladder only using your hands, but I have never used one.

Thanks for pointing that out. I have searched their site for that bar, not realizing that you didn't have to buy them with the bench on that page. I guess I made the wrong assumption initially and then never let myself actually read the page.
