This is true, actually its somewhere around the 6th beer that i start to slow down enough to allow autocorrect to function! I cant help it that im faster then a speeding bullet, siri’s autocorrect, and my own fat fingers!
I may like the sturdiness and value of Titans gym equipment, BUT HELL NO I WONT DRINK OUT OF A CHINEESE DRINKING CUP! There are a few things that avoiding chineese matters, any type of food, anything that food or drink is storedvin, and condomes! So we are agreed 110%!
Weve discussed probably a hundred topics over the years on here, i dont ever recall us being far off the mark on anything else, so really we not only can have a beer or 3, but we can discuss equipment in agreement the majority of the time as well!
As mentioned by someone earlier, This issue probably isnt one we are as far apart as we seem on the surface. Our differences come down to weighing value and degree of what is acceptable as a trade off for it. Also in practical application verses principle. I understand a lot of your disdain comes from your principle that based on reports of issues and pics of bad welds et. even a small chance of a failure warrants not recomending Titan. My opinion comes from questioning just How of what we see is real or a practical concern. My view is also based on the companies willingness to take back anything you feel is crap and make it right and on the reality that what has come in the dozen or so boxes shipped to me, has exceeded the expectations i had.
I take comments like the foot typing from people i respect as not being meant to reflect on there view of the content, only the delivery! ****, i cant read some unproofed comments i have read of mine! Lol
I only get pissed when someone whos on there 10th post starts ripping apart a post and disregarding the content based on that. Regulars interact with each other over years and even though we never meet, have a relationship of respect based on our common effort to help newer members and having built a real understanding of what each other knows on the topics and contributes. so its like a friend joking with you about something, it doesn't bother you even if someone you dont know making a similar remark might be irritating

Someone pointed out that some of Titan's products are conveniently higher than previously and Titan kinda went all in on a denial.

Well I've received my first Titan product (T3 36" short rack), and there are several QC issues I've encountered. The rack is not together yet, but I'm sure in use it will be fine. What I've run into:
Two of the vertical legs have a bow in them. Two are dead straight, two have about 1/2"-3/4" of bow. Not enough to affect the function, but still annoying. You would definitely notice this if looking for it. Right now I've got them propped at each end with about 500lbs of plates sitting in the middle to try and bend them back. Not sure if it will work...11ga steel is tough. They barely flex with this much weight + me standing on them and bouncing.
All four of the horizontal connectors had a bent bolt flange. It will bend back into place when bolting together, but still odd they each have a single bent flange.
Neither issue is a deal breaker, nor worth the hassle of shipping back. If the bow straighten's out some, great. If not, I'll happily work out in this rack for a long time, and just call it a quirk.
I knew what I was paying for and was willing to take the risk, but at some level it is a bit disappointing you are not one of the lucky ones who gets a sample that exceeds expectations.

Yeah, so....sandwich J-hooks for T3 - $60 less 10% = $54, including shipping, is a no-go, but $51-$48 (15%-20%) is good? Or, Adj Mono-lift for T3 - $174 less 10% = $157, including shipping, is a no-go, but $139-$148 (15%-20%) is good?
So, you would get those from Rogue instead?? M-Lite Sandwich J-hooks $125+$13 shipping = $139 or 2.57 x the price ($54) of Titan hooks. Or, M-lite Mono-lift $305 + $21 shipping = $326, or 2.07 x the price ($157) of Titan mono's.
Odd logic?

So today, 3 weeks after I placed my order, I have enough parts to use my yoke tomorrow. I have 1.9 yokes in my garage right now and **might** have another whole or partial one on the way based on an email 3 days ago.
I have absolutely no idea how this company makes any money off of their transactions. Their customer service is actually very helpful, other than the multiple days between emails.

Shakes head...
you get dude that this is a thread that there are thousands of positive transactions wth no problems and this thread is a magnet for problems? You understand that theres multiple accounts of Rogue screwing up and not handling it nearly as well, does that mean Rogue sucks? I can find you more complaints worse then this with most american companies, but they usually try to get the customer to just accept the issue... this company is selling equipment at 1/2 the price so it isnt really a equall comparison.

Have a question about the Titan T3 yoke. I'm thinking of getting it but wondered how easy it was to disassemble. The regular version wouldn't fit out my basement door, but the short one would. Boyfriend wants to be able to use it as a squat rack too so we have an extra...
Can I tear it apart easily to take outside for yoke walks?USPA: 60kg babby lifter

See above post. The crossmember is a bit of a pain to slide up and down and if you were going to take it completely off you may need 2 people other wise risk tipping the uprights over. Definitely comes apart and will store/move nicely though.
Be prepared for a ordering/shipping nightmare though. Took me 3 frustrating weeks to get enough parts to use mine. If you live anywhere near me I have .9 yoke for sale, just have to find a 2x3 upright for it to work.

getting annoyed!!
Titan has been telling me for two months the x3 36" rack will be in on Memorial day and that it will be on sale.
I've spoke to them every few weeks in the last two months and everyone I've spoken to has told me the same thing. It still isn't in stock. I spoke to them again today. They said it MIGHT be back in stock 6-1-2018 and there would only be a few in stock.....and it won't be on sale.

I also purchased those for the T2. They fit my Valor rack, but the tractor pin doesn't line up with my holes so I can't out the extra pin and clip in. I don't care. It's not needed, lol.
The uhmw is a little 'soft' but they are awesome and beefy as well. Have been using them for whatever I can, lol. They are very nice for incline bench safety outside of the rack.

Is anyone in this thread running the Titan Hefty Pad Bench? I looking at replacing my standard Titan flat bench with a wide thick pad style bench. No way in hell I am paying almost $400 for the Rogue. Had interest in the Rep Fitness bench, but its been out of stock over a month and I am tired of waiting.

The Hefty Pad is actually very high quality but the vinyl and stitching are way too thin and cheap. REP's vinyl and stitching on their bench is better, but their pad and pad construction can't touch the Hefty Pad. The ideal thing to do is to get the Hefty Pad and have it professionally recovered, and I actually think that would make it better than the Rogue Fat Pad.
