Hey guys was wondering if any of you know of some weight gainers without maltodextrin or atleast a low content of it?
The only one I have been able to find is IFN Mass Gainz.
It looks very good but I would like alittle higher amount of carbs. Does anyone know of any other weight gainers or am I better off getting IFN Mass Gainz and adding alittle extra oats to it or something?
Thanks alot guys.

Besides IFN, Masstech looks like a great alternative. Just saw the profile and noticed the free shipping that can be stacked with the 30% off Apparently, chocolate is the forum's favorite.
*edit* omgg just checked out Mass Gainz profile, looks like it has quality ingredients like quinoa and oats. I recall the chocolate covered pretzel mentioned the most hereLast edited by yoojungl; 04-25-2017 at 09:09 PM.

Honestly, Mass Gainz is going to be the best bang for your buck. Rarely do you find gainers with profiles like it. I understand that you are wanting more carbs but it wouldn't be very expensive to just add some to Mass Gainz as you said.
As for other mass gainers, Nutrabio has a great one (with maltodextrin), but they actually list the polymerization of the maltodextrin unlike many other companies. This would be another good choice.Instagram - @mooddani

I feel you man, it is a tad low in carbs compared to other gainers, but 75g of carbs truly is a decent amount for one sitting. I use a TON of mass gainz for obvious reasons. What I do for some added carbs,
I always use chocolate. I add some captain crunch peanut butter to give it a nice little pb kick lol.. gives me some 20-30g extra with a boost of a unique flavor! It gets thick so youll need a lot of fluid . Oats and quinoa are not thin, so you no you got the real deal!!

Is there a reason that you wouldn't consider making your own?
By making your own you'd be able to know exactly what you're consuming, it'll most likely be cheaper, and will taste exactly how you want it (you control the ingredients).
I would typically use whey, PB, oats, fruit, etc.Myprotein's Official Bodybuilding.com Lead Representative ✔

Whole foods are always preferable however there are some people that simply don't have the appetite to eat enough whole food calories, that is where a properly formulated gainer can help. At the end of the day you have to hit your calorie requirements if you are to grow and if you can't do it through whole foods then a shake can be an invaluable tool.

While I don't disagree with your points, it seemed to me that the counter-point that was missing from this thread. As I'm sure you've seen, new lifters come her often with this mind that supplementation being the key to success. I think it's the responsible thing to remind them that real food is their first goal. After efforts with real food are exhausted, then supplements are definitely an option.
