These guys cant win on 1v1 fight however a tactic I noticed at the last Battle of Berkeley, and pretty much confirmed by watching clips afterwards...
They plant a few seemingly non-threatening people (usually women) who will stand there and just argue, knowing that we'll engage in an argument. While the arguing continues, others will circle around the person/people arguing. Then someone will eventually charge from behind or the side and attack...then the whole group moves in.
Essentially they cut-off the person/people who engaged in the argument from the rest of their group. I think this is how a few of the more severe injuries on our side occurred.
