I won't post it here. Watch it, if you want. It's on RT.
Watching it made me realize again, America is ****ed up.
I feel sorry for the cops who have to deal with individuals who may or may not be carrying guns.
I watched the video, and I cannot blame the cop. Clearly he was nervous. He gave clear orders. He didn't know the driver. The driver could've been a criminal or not. He could've pulled a gun on the cop or not. Cops don't know that. They need to be cautious.
The fact that any one, criminal, crazy, suicidal, ... can find a ****ing gun, puts cops at a very stressful situation. ****ing do something about guns, America.
Sorry for venting. I just watched the video. Had to get it out.

New dashcam footage shows moments before police shot Philando Castile
And David said, "The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." And Saul said to David, "Go, and may the Lord be with you." (1 Samuel 17:37)
Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David’s hand. (1 Samuel 17:50)

Black men commit nearly half of the murders in this country and only make-up about 7% of the population. 43% of cop murderers are also black. So there is a 600-700% increase in danger when dealing with a black perp than a white perp. Cops absolutely SHOULD be nervous around black men, everyone should. Unless they are wearing a sweater/suit or something.

Father was a cop and always said, "Go be a cop for a day then speak bad about them. The stuff you see..."
I give anyone credit for being a cop. They are putting their ass on the line dealing with questionable people all day long. The problem with these shootings is the poor community and its uncooperative interactions with police. I don't think it has a racial component. Cops and the poor community have always had a piss poor relationship and I hope improvements can be made.
Police can do things in these instances to make things better, but think it is a huge monday morning QB for us, majority non-cops, to sit around and tell them how they should act in very dangerous situations. Officer looked scared as chit and had no idea what this person was reaching for. When someone doesn't cooperate, cops have to react assuming this person will perform a dangerous action. If I was in his shoes, I probably would've done the same thing.
Not OP but would recommend:
1) mandated education, training, and background checks with purchase of any gun purchase
2) Get rid of all laws making it more difficult for law abiding citizens to have guns
3) remove safe zones and all other non-gun areas
The problem isn't too many guns. The problem is how easy guns are to acquire illegally for anyone willing. We basically have criminals with gun, while law abiding citizens have to go through a lengthy process in many states to acquire just about anything."Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does." -William James

Which also implies that blacks should be nervous around cops. It will naturally become a reciprocal thing. As long as the two sides are uneasy, there will always be increased conflict. And don't jump on me about how I should handle it. I'm just stating a fact that both sides will continue to have conflict
Hell Im black, work corporate, upper middle class and I'm uneasy around cops. Not because I have anything to hide, but because I know how some feel about blacks. That while "stats" argument justifies it***Gender Non-Committed***

if your a cop and are afraid of: "anybody can have a gun" "he can pull the imaginary gun on me at any time" and say chit like "i dont care about anyone, im going home tonight hurr durr"... i think its time to find a job that suits you more like a backroom janitor or stock boy. leave the action to the pros who can handle it without pussying out.

More white people get killed but not at the same rate black people get killed. I'm just making up the numbers as an example but imagine 10,000 white people getting pulled over, 10 get killed. Now 100 black people get pulled over, 9 get killed. More white people died but black people were more likely to die so it's "reasonable" for somebody who is black to be more afraid of police than somebody who is white. That is the basic point he is making.
