5'10 148 should I lose weight or build muscle?

So I joined a gym and worked on my arms and abs and did about a total of 30 minutes cardio which I burned about 150 calories but I'm not sure if I should lose weight or build muscle I thought I was 160-170 but I'm way lower then I thought and I have no experience with this type of stuff so any tips would help I want abs mostly and I don't want to body build I just wanna build a little muscle

5'10" 148 pounds? Should not even be a question in your mind. EAT (at your age no need to count calories) with a good full body novice routine.
