[ I'm also a huge fan of "just git' er done" cutting diets but man that is a LOT of weight to lose in that short a time.

If this was a newbie posting this the response would be, "you have an unhealthy relationship with food and showing signs of an eating disorder". The thread would have been closed down with the "we do not support this sort of drastic weight loss" message.
Can't understand the support being posted, went from skin and bone to POW physiqueDont diet and exercise - Eat and train!

For the record, my post in this thread shouldn't be taken as support of OP's choice. I'm firmly in the "he looked better before" camp. Like you said, were he a newbie asking "should I do this" my advice would have been "absolutely not."
In this case, what's done is done, and I only pointed out there is a large difference in someone who (given his demonstratable knowledge and posting history) undertakes a short term, carefully thought out PSMF program (despite my personal feelings toward such) and newbies and posters in other threads asking and/or supporting long-term VLCD crash diets.

Makes matters worse when OP now wants to gain at a pound per week, which will induce fat gains. Not that it's a bad thing in this specific case, but is so when it was the very thing he was trying to get rid of in the first place with this crash diet.
This is bad on so many levels.

OP, I know you post some good stuff in the forum, but I gotta ask... wtf?
You chose to lose 30lb in two weeks eating about 1000 calories per day... knowing you'd feel like garbage, rather than just reducing your intake to a moderate level?
It's not like you're competing in anything weight-dependent.... I mean isn't this the equivalent of someone with a 2500 TDEE eating like... nothing? for two weeks? Cept maybe trace fats and protein?
I don't understand how this is preferable... hell I shudder to imagine how low your blood sugar got if you continued to exercise.Last edited by AdamWW; 04-13-2017 at 02:19 PM.

Please tell me this is a troll thread?
Why do we condone disordered behavior and enable body dysmporphia? Gotta love the fitness community...
Yikes.

Not even a week at maintenance and at 132 again already, so likely going to be ~135ish when fully glycogen/water weighted up; so really 20 pounds in 2 weeks; yes extreme but again, I prefer the faster results.

Which makes you no different from anyone else who would rather see the faster results, but as your signature says, "Short cuts to success are often paved with lies."
It's kind of sad that you're not owning up to anything here or addressing any of the issues raised in this thread.

I know what I am doing, whether or not it is right... well that is pretty arguably not. But in the end I do know the possible ramifications, just curious to ride life out in the manner I choose. Right now, goal is to just lift and eat and see where that takes me.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

You know, I need to gain about 30 pounds... i think I'll eat 12000 calories per day, even if i feel horrible, every day for 3 weeks.
I know it's not healthy but, hey... YOLO, right? I know it's bad, so that's enough....
BRB making a thread about it to get 'support' and feedback about my (knowingly) poor choices.
Seriously, why would you advertise this if not to either (1) get attention/validation or (2) influence others? Either one seems in very bad taste."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

Kids are going to see this and want to mimic the hypocrit OP.
And the vicious obsession of being lean with no sight of muscularity grows ever so more popular amongst our progeny.
Where are the ban-happy mods when the forum community needs them the most?

Not sure if the mod that closed this let you know why, but I can't help but say this anyway for you and anyone reading.
You've been around this forum way too long to be making these kinds of posts. You know it doesn't fly man. I can't even begin to adequately endorse the people that are telling you to seek help. They have your best interest in mind.
You can do whatever you like, but please don't ever post this stuff again.
