Not expecting much this year. As fate would have it, when Muschamp finally has a legit QB he has inherited a defense so bad it'll take 2-3 years to make it top tier. And clemson picking up a commitment from a team changing DE we were competing for doesn't help.Luckily the East is pretty bleh right now if there was ever a good time to rebuild in the SEC it's now.

Osu might have the best defense in the country next year with how much depth they have. There is talk they have a few packages that will feature 5 down linemen

That's TBD. It was ugly at UF but he had a new OC every year except one. Kind of makes it hard to get good progression from players when they're learning new schemes every year. Year one at SC was definitely nothing to brag about, but we made good strides once we put Bentley in and we get at least two more years of him. In addition to a true FR QB the vast majority of offensive contributors were either FR or SO. We'll need to recruit better though.21st isn't horrible but isn't where we need to be considering what level our yearly opponents bring in.

LJ doesn't suck but he isn't optimal for a Petrino offense. Bobby is amazing at exploiting weaknesses in zone, but I haven't seen anything to make me think Jackson can efficiently do that. He got by last year on talent but teams started to figure him out. Sure he'll probably be improved but I wouldn't say he'll do better than last year. Plus they bring in a new DC(they traded DCs with Miss. State) so I think they'll take a step back on that side of the ball as well.

Then has to go through the most underwhelming schedule ive seen in a long time. I dont think they play a single program that the sports misc collectively sees as decent. So i guess theyre going to be that "high octane" under dog that the huskies were last year. At least as far as the regular season storyline goes.
