Well I agree a 6 dollar tip is pretty fked up. I disagree with complaining about it though. If that's the worst thing in your life you are doing OK and should not be bitching.
That's the world we live in. Expectations are high/ignorant and when they aren't met people have the nerve to bitch about it.
You guys hating on her looks/weight are just as pathetic though. I get it's all in good fun but not relevant at all to the thread.Uncontrollable behavior with some psychopathic tendencies

keep in mind that waitresses will always make at least minimum wage even if they get zero tips. their "2.15 per hour" line is basically a lie, if their (total tips + wage earnings) divided by their hours worked does not equal minimum wage they are paid the difference. this should encourage you further to never tip.

PROBLEM IS WHITE KNIGHTS
Problem is this girl has had beta wks tipping more and leaving smileys on that chit even though she looks like sensuality dipped in flour.
Problem is sensuality will get pms from 10 thirsty FAs asking how her day was as I type this.
Also, legislation for this stupid chit is so ancient and makes these mfkers so entitled.
Simple, pay them minimum wage and if customers feel like the establishment has done a great job they can leave a tip at the jar close to the exit which will be shared by cooks, dishwashers, managers and in general every employee who contributed to a great experience.
Why the fuk is society so fukked up that tipping servers is viewed almost like paying taxes?? WTF.*2015 Mustang GT crew*

Bull****.
There is nothing difficult about serving. You think its easier than being a cashier? A cashier deals with potentially a hundred+ customers in a shift, and guess what? In retail, the cashier is almost always the one who deals with complaints because they are the last person the customer deals with. That means that if someone is mad because there is no whatever on the shelf, its usually the cashier that has to hear it out even though that has nothing to do with them.
Pretty much all those jobs you listed are easily as "difficult" (probably more-so) than serving.

She's a chit waitress. I went to a sports bar last week during happy hour, got a buttload of food and our waitress was really attentive to our needs and would often check up on us. The bill was $35 and I tipped $10.
I'm an awesome tipper and will usually tip over 20% of the bill if the servers are doing a great job.Founder and Leader of BBBC (Bubble Butt Brahs Crew) [as a brah, got a bubble butt & I can't deny it] - now recruiting

Most of these people make way more than minimum wage anyway; thus they're actually making more money than other minimum wage workers who work jobs that are as difficult if not more difficult. Why do you think there are so many waitresses/servers/bartenders who manage to afford living in metropolitan cities? These people aren't "underpaid"; you're not going to find a minimum wage Wal-Mart worker living downtown in any metropolitan city.
Even in this case she "only" made $13.18 for what couldn't have been more than an hour of work. That converts to $17.68 Canadian, and here in Canada the minimum wage is ~$11-14 per hour (depending on Province). So she made more than minimum on that one tip alone; that isn't counting whatever her actual wage is or the fact that she very little handled another table or two during that hour as well.Last edited by metafour; 04-07-2017 at 12:32 PM.

my best friend's ex literally made $50+ / hour on a regular shift during the weekend as the restaurant was a very busy upscale one with plenty of thirsty old wk 'regulars'.
She used to bring us bottles of belvedere, ciroc, wine and chit all the time when we partied and used to buy us all shots. Too bad she cheated on him
Meanwhile my friend was a tradie hired by the city for $25 an hour. LMAO*2015 Mustang GT crew*

Lol are you fukn retarded?
She might be doing the same type of work (running drinks, taking orders, bringing food out etc.) but the workload is considerably higher.
Fukn negged for being a dumbfuk.
She must have given ****ty service to receive $13 in tip. And lol at how she says if you can't afford to tip, don't eat out. The fukn bill was $700 so the table obviously can afford to eat out.

I have waitress friends than can pull down $500+ a night in tips (Wineries, steak houses, etc)
Let that sink in. Someone is getting paid thousands of dollars per month to write what you want to eat down on a piece of paper and bring it from point A to point B, and then bring the food from point B back to point A. And most of the time they don't even do it with a smile on their face.
Meanwhile, you have guys and gals who work the fields or in production plants that make minimum wage or barely above. How does that make sense?
I usually tip because of social standards and if I'm out with people you have to play the game so they don't think you're a cheap ass but god damn, I'm thinking about going on that no trip crew after seeing more and more entitlement from ****ty waitresses.
