https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiep...anity-n2309302WASHINGTON — President Trump opened a news conference with a key Middle East ally Wednesday by denouncing this week's chemical attack in Syria and suggesting his administration would develop a new policy toward Bashar al-Assad's government.
At a Rose Garden news conference, Trump accused the Assad government of being behind the "horrific" attack that targeted "women, small children, and even beautiful little babies."
The attack, Trump said, "crossed a lot of lines for me."
"These heinous actions by the Assad regime cannot be tolerated," Trump said at the conference with Jordan's King Abdullah, whom Trump called a "great warrior."
Here we go again with the crossing of lines...He just boxed himself into taking out Assad, If he doesnt take action, he will look like Obama lol"That crosses many many lines, beyond a red line."

trump giving a response that sounds just like Obama or Jeb bush or Hillary would give. and puppet nikki haley in the UN emergency meeting today said that if other countries decide not to take cooperative action together on this then the US will go it alone. looks like we're headed to Syria boyos.
certain groups won't rest until Assad is gone. have we not learned from iraq? from libya?

Just lmao if you think we wouldn't have been doing this if Clinton got elected(and yes, you voted for Clinton). That being said I'll be really disappointed if we go the "overthrow the dictator and hope for the best" route in Syria. Would be a huge blow to Trump's credibility imho.

Why the fuk can't we just diplomatically disarm him of his chemical weapons and leave Syria the fuk alone?
If a country wants to shell the crap out of themselves we should let them, I agree chemical weapons cross a line which is why the UN should lead the diplomatic relations only to disarm Assad of chemical weapons.

When were "Trumpers" pro Assad. Pretty sure every Trump Supporter would like to see Assad dead and out of power, but don't want American Troops to die in the process. Trump came into office with a clean slate on Russia etc.., as things evolve his positions will evolve.
Obummer swore he would close Gitmo, eight years later we still have Gitmo? Why? Because he is a liar? Nah. Most likely he was faced with some realizations that he was not aware of prior to taking office.Israel in the Middle East is fighting on behalf of the free world, declared Mosab Hassan Yousef, the outspoken son of Hamas leader Hassan Yousef.

Mr. Trump shrugged at calls to use force against Mr. Assad’s government and endorsed Russia’s support of the Syrian leader.
“You have Russia that’s now there. Russia’s on the side of Assad, and Russia wants to get rid of ISIS as much as we do, if not more, because they don’t want them coming into Russia,” Mr. Trump said in a September 2015 interview with CNN. “Let Syria and ISIS fight. Why do we care?”
In a May 2016 interview on MSNBC, Mr. Trump said the United States had “bigger problems than Assad.” He added, “I would have stayed out of Syria and wouldn’t have fought so much for Assad, against Assad.”
So emphatic was Mr. Trump’s stance on Syria that he disavowed the stance of his own running mate. After the October 2016 vice-presidential debate, when Mike Pence, then governor of Indiana, backed strikes against Mr. Assad, Mr. Trump stated, “I disagree.”
